Also loved the little touches - like the nespresso machine in the room had nespresso brand pods. I chose the breakfast drop off and it was so lovely waking up and having a nice light euro breakfast on my door! also train station to get to Bern is 500m away so very nice place to stay if you do not have car or bike. loved the HUGE closet and shower! also the hair dryer was very nice. all the small details were so wonderful. even had a tan for the warm July weather!

Set at 2,225 metres above sea level, Berghaus Männlichen offers a sun terrace with great views of the Swiss Alps, a self-service restaurant, and a children’s playground. This quietly located guest house is 12 km from Grindelwald village centre. The hotel is very pleasant, very clean, nicely decorated, and the location is of course incredible. Plus, the staff is fantastic. Definitely an excellent hotel.

The Drei Berge Hotel is facing the three highest peaks in Switzerland and is named after them (The Three Mountains). The Jungfrau peak is protected by UNESCO and gives its name to the restaurant where you can drink water of the valley, the purest in the world. It was quaint but tastefully furnished, and very clean. The bathroom was clean and spacious - not something we’ve experienced in Switzerland generally (bathrooms tend to be on the small side). My sister was very pleased with the bathroom and said she didn’t feel like she had no space to turn for once! The room was really wonderful. And even the communal bathroom on the first floor was spotless, nice-smelling (rose petal scent) and such a pleasure to use. The property seems to be family-run and we were welcomed very warmly. The lady at the front desk (Ruth?) made us feel particularly at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - I will most certainly stay here again if I visit Murren again, and will also recommend it to my friends and family!

Set in Gadmen, within 35 km of Giessbachfälle and 31 km of Freilichtmuseum Ballenberg, Tälli Hütte offers accommodation with a terrace and as well as free private parking for guests who drive.

At the inn all rooms are fitted with a shared bathroom. the hut is in a beautiful location, the staff was so friendly and helpful and the provided dinner and breakfast were delicious! Very well located to explore the area!

The Hotel Steinbock is located at the edge of Lauterbrunnen opposite the train and cable car station for Grütschalp, Mürren and the Schilthorn.

The rooms offer views of the mountains including the Jungfrau, Breithorn and Ebnefluh, all over 4000 metres high. Everything was amazing the hotel the staff the rooms, everything was awesome, if i ever get the chance to comeback to Switzerland i will 100% book a room here, it was absolutely amazing, 10/10 would definitely reccomend ;)

The Alpenblick hotel is situated about 600 metres from the centre of Grindelwald, right at the ski slope and a bus stop, and offers nice rooms and tasty food.

In the restaurant and on the sunny terrace guests can select from fresh hot sandwiches, steaks, salads and desserts. Cheese fondue is available as well. Perfect location. Great breakfast. Nice and prompt response for the requests we had. Free parking spaces. View from the room is stunning. Breakfast was great!

All guest room at the Schönegg guest house feature typical Alpine-style furniture. Amazing place, a perfect host, and a beautiful location. I felt like home and I miss it now so much. The nearest airport is Geneva International Airport, 178 km from the inn. The property was nice and rustic. Berghaus Iffigenalp really made you feel like you were staying in a mountain lodge. Driving to the property have your camera ready because the scenery is amazing. The breakfast cost a little extra but was well worth the price.
