Access up to the village in off season is a bit difficult but we found an excellent English speaking taxi driver from Montepulciano. I have given his phone number to the hotel for anyone interested.

Bagno Vignoni is a beautiful place and we felt like we were back in time because of the old, medieval vibe there. It would be lovely to return in autumn/winter.

It is about a 2 km walk to bagno vignoni. You must stop on the way and get in the pools. We only stayed two nights here but three would be ideal to enjoy the countryside location. Highly recommended.

Everything was very clean and nicely scented. The staff was very friendly and let us check in later than officially. The best thing is location - in the very centre of Bagno Vignoni, next to the old thermal pool. The room had a view over the pool with Rocca d’Orcia tower in the background. Free parking just behing the facility was also a big plus.
