Excellent cool space. Close to Cafe Haiti for "the best" outdoor seating PLUS , A-1 Cafe con Leche. Manolo's, which is a popular restaurant, is 2 blocks up on Calle Larco and has a delicious Torta Espagnol. Having visited Peru with the Peace Corps, this was a logical stop. Cats roam the park and they are cared for by a local group. Some are friendly and allow petting, some are aloof. There was an art show there and we wandered through looking at local art and there was a local food show nearby. The park is a pretty, shaded and peaceful place to enjoy an ice cream and conversation.

CATS -- I think my granddaughters loved this better than Machu Picchu, Taquile, Uros, Cusco...... great park to sit and people watch and cat watch. Maybe bring a little healthy food for cats - they seem to be getting a lot of junk.

Being in a side street meant that it was shielded from the noise of the popular Kennedy park area situated just behind. The apartment was spacious and had all the amenities you would need to cook, eat and relax. The staff were all very polite and happy to do anything to make your stay enjoyable. As I didn't see any other people during my time there I can only presume the hotel was fairly empty. I'm at a lose to know why.
