A barbecue is available on site and both fishing and canoeing can be enjoyed within close proximity of the lodge. Very nice place to stay in the nature. Spacious holiday house with the huge terrace and very cosy tent and cottage. Super easy communication with the host, everything went very smooth.

We are located on the safest routes to and from Addo Park, including leading up to the lodge. We are centrally located in Addo area between the Garden Route and R62, for those planning round trip back to, or coming from Outdshoorn. If you do travel from Port-Elizabeth, please drive via R75 to us. Private massive tent with great views from the porch. We unfortunately arrived in the rain and left in the rain, so the birdwatching I hoped for was a little dampened. Fortunate rain for all the animals plants and people of the bushveld tho! The owners are gracious and helpful - and such good cooks. Despite the downpours and wind, we slept warm and dry in our unique accommodation. Would love to visit again on a sunny day!

Bushman Sands Golf Course is 35 km from Ikwanitsha Lodge. The nearest airport is Chief Dawid Stuurman International Airport, 85 km from the accommodation. The lodge has individual chalets, very separated from each other. It offers a privacy and has everything you need for a very relaxing stay. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, the chalets are comfortable, have a fridge filled with refreshments, WIFI is superb. But best of all is the spectacular view. You can sit on the terrace of your chalet and keep watching the beautiful landscape, mountains, valleys and spectacular stars at night. There is a family style dinner served in the evening and a very pleasant breakfast. The place also has some zebras. I enjoyed every minute of my stay.A very good base for the Addo Elephant park and I enjoyed also the Scotia safari.

Port Elizabeth is 35 km from Charihandra Game Lodge, whereas Addo is 19.4 km away. The place is a true gem, we absolutley loved it. Had a fantastic time. Our toddler loved running around, entering the swimming pool and even got lucky to meet Lucy the giraffe. The food was amazing. My husband has celiac and he had so much great options to eat. We had a problem with the car on the way and the staff were super friendly, helpful and available for us. So happy we had the oppurtunity to stay in this great place. Thank you!

The lodge offers game drives through Addo National Park, game walks on the property and guided sundowner walks. The view from the mountains is amazing. There is a nice pool and relaxing area. We had a dinner also with this view. The rooms are pretty, all made us to feel good!! We had a small Kia Picanto rental car, very small one. Luckily it was not rainy season, so it was no problem to go up with this car, we had to drive slow and carefully and all was fine!!! The hotel is not far from Addo National Park, so before heading there we made a 2 hour driving from the northern entrance of the park and we saw many elephants and other animals.

The Lodge is situated on a private game reserve, which boasts over 17 species of wild game animals, including a large family of giraffes. Safaris and day trips can be arranged.

Valley Bushveld Country Lodge serves authentic South African cuisine. During cold winter evenings, guests can enjoy a drink in the lounge with a huge fireplace. This is a lovely lodge that has a safari theme and is dedicated to giraffe game drives: do not miss this! They do not have wild animals so you can get off the safari vehicle and walk next to the giraffes!! That was such a highlight! The room was as advertised and the dinner we booked was very nourishing and good: but the giraffe drive was amazing!
