I was really late in arriving and they stayed up to let me in. Great room: spacious and well laid out. The designer and craftsmen who installed it were true modern artists. For example, the thin wood strip marquetry on the wood base for the clothes hanger. The gently curved cabinet under the bathroom sink. The irregularly shaped inlaid tile ornament in the bathroom wall. Fine breakfast: not a buffet, just ask and they will create. For example, a perfect omelette served in its pan which kept it quite hot. A fine fruit and cheese plate. Peace and quiet and the view of the hills with forests and fields out the windows in the morning.

The family-run 4-star Naturhotel Bauernhofer is set in a quiet location on 1,132 metres above sea level on the Brandlucken, amidst the Almenland Nature Park. Everything was absolutely amazing from staff, food and the wellness facilities. We loved it all

Rodeado pela cénica Reserva Natural de Almenland, o Gasthof Hofbauer em Breitenau am Hochlantsch dispõe de um restaurante tradicional e de uma sauna. The second time we were here, and all is amazing! The personnel was very polite and ready to help - they kindly prepared our dinner in advance and patiently waited for our arrival despite it being the off time for the restaurant. Thank you very much, guys, you are the best!
