Offering modern, refurbished self-contained accommodation with spacious patios and outdoor furniture, this property is located in Mildura, just 5 minutes’ drive from the town centre. The code to the gate and unit door were messaged directly to my phone. The hosts were readily available to be contacted, and three mobile names and numbers were provided by them. The (free) parking was off-street and the accom was in walking distance to town and the river.

Just a 20-minute walk from Mildura town centre, Vineland Motel features an outdoor pool and BBQ facilities. All air-conditioned guest rooms offer a lounge area with a flat-screen TV. The room was well appointed, plenty of space and very clean. The bathroom was spacious with plenty of room for toiletries and toiletry bags. There was also a large fridge which was a bonus...and the bed was really, really, comfortable.

Orana Motor Inn offers an outdoor pool, barbecue facilities and free on-site parking. It is an 8-minute drive from the tourist information centre and a 15-minute drive from Mildura Airport. Very friendly helpful management. We arrived late and they directed us to nearby places where we could still get dinner. The rooms are large and comfortable, great bed and good powerful shower. The best part about this hotel is that it is not on the main drag so you do not suffer the traffic noise that you get with the other motels. The motel is a bit away from the centre of town but there is a good pub and good take-aways nearby.

This was an exceptional property close to town and overlooking water near the Murray River. The hosts were extremely generous and the home had everything six retirees could want. Definitely recommend a visit.
