We went there on August 2022. The ower was very nice. She explained everything about interlaken that we need to known including recomended local restuarants. They also provided the interlaken traveling bus/train card covering all the days that we stayed there but mostly i think traveller would have swiss pass already. The hotel not quite far from the main station and breakfast very nice. They have elevator in the hotel so no worry for large luggages. Althoug they did not have an airconditioner, it was okay with the fan in the night. The weather was not bad at night, it was about 25 degree or less in August.

Hotel Brienzersee has the excellent location overseeing the lake. View from the hotel is exceptional and stunning. We stayed at the room facing the lake and the view was breathtaking. The Host Carmen was very warm and pleasant and welcoming. The breakfast spread was wide with choice selection of the various fruits and cheeses. I highly recommend this place in Interlaken Although it is a few km away from Interlake Ost station in Ringenberg, the hotel provides free bus passes to Interlaken Ost which was a very useful and thoughtful. I would certainly stay here again in my next visit to Interlaken

Hotel a conduzione familiare ubicato a pochi chilometri da Interlaken, sul lago di Brienz. Eravamo alloggiati nella parte più vecchia dell'hotel, comunque dotata di ascensore. Buona la colazione. Parcheggio gratuito alle spalle della struttura. La scelta è stata fatta in funzione del prezzo, competitivo rispetto alle quotazioni stellari di Interlaken. Personale disponibile. Un cenno va fatto per il ristorante, davvero di ottima qualità anche se a prezzi.... svizzeri!

La posizione di questo hotel è meravigliosa: da un lato si apre l'ampio orizzonte verso il lago di Brienz e dall'altro c'è la Jungfrau che domina la valle che parte proprio da Wilderswil. Non si respira solo con la bocca e con il naso, ma anche con gli occhi. La colazione è abbondante e variegata. Il personale con me è stato gentilissimo nell'attendermi fino all'ultimo dato che per motivi di traffico sono arrivato in tarda serata.

Supermercato e molti ristoranti vicini, di fianco è presentate il punto di partenza per le crociere sul lago di Brienz, così come la funicolare per Harder Kulm è a 5 minuti a piedi attraversando il ponte. Il terrazzino sul fiume e vista monti è molto piacevole soprattutto al tramonto.

The Views from the Hotel Strand were magnificant. Beautiful setting, nice and quiet with a cute little balcony to enjoy the lake views. The room was better then the pictures. Cozy with complimentary tea and coffee. The beds are firm like most of Europe which is what we like. The morning buffet was delicious with large variety. The staff was so kind and helpful. From here we explore Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, and Giessbach water fall. Definitely will be back to explore and hike in this area of Switzerland again. We were here beginning of May when all the spring wild flowers are in bloom.

We absolutely loved the property. It is completely beautiful, rooms are perfect, very clean, the complimentary breakfast was excellent and Tatiana was great. The location is great. Very close to Interlaken (6 minutes on a free bus) and free parking. It is a quiet spot, which can be really lovely after a busy day sight seeing. Peter was an exceptional host, really made an effort and made you feel at home. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel was one of the best in terms of historic building, location, views, sophisticated behaviour of the hotel staff, excellent breakfast and dinner restaurant. All in all I with my family had an unforgettable experience and one of these days want to come back and visit again. I strongly recommend anyone visiting Interlaken area to stop by at least for a day and if possible longer.

Great terrace for breakfast enjoying the views over the lake and the mountains. Nice spot for swimming in the lake right in front of the hotel. Very well connected with Interlaken West station, just a few minutes by bus. Transport ticket for local transport in Interlaken area (rail&bus) included in your stay (as usual in Switzerland).
