Restaurant: Try the surprise menu for a culinary experience. The menus were only in German, but that wasn't an issue as some spoke English. Breakfast was basic but plentiful: with breads, jams, cheese & eggs at your disposal. Room: Scandinavian chic comes to mind. Decor is simple but works well as the natural outdoor scenery shines bright.

Situated 450 metres above Lake Lucerne on the Bürgenberg mountain, in the Bürgenstock Resort, the Waldhotel Health & medical Excellence was designed by star architect Matteo Thun and features the... This is like a dream place. An experience you would hardly forget! The location is dreamy, my room was facing the hills with cowbells ringing all day. Breakfast are exquisite, whatever you like will be served within a minute. Service everywhere in the resort is amazing, stuff is the friendliest and the most entertaining for the ones who travel alone too. You can enjoy several different restaurants with great cuisine and views. Spa in the Waldhotel is perfect, clean and quiet, not many visitors during a low season (i was basically alone there all the time). You can also enjoy some attractions around or visit Luzern by boat fastly.

Located in Beckenried, right at the shore of Lake Lucerne, Superior Hotel Nidwaldnerhof features a lake-view terrace and offers free WiFi access and free garage parking, with each room having its own... The hotel is located at the bank of Lake Lucerne with magnificent views toward the surrounding hills and the lake. It is mesmerizing. The establishment run by a wonderful Family with passion, professionalism and personal touch. Each guests welcomed and treated with care and love. Since I had my birthday on the weekend - we have received an upgrade to a beautiful suite which was full window, overlooking lake Lucerne, within the suite there was a jacuzzi. The location is quiet, yet, many things to do around. You can also take boat trip, go for a hike, etc. Within a hotel there is a fantastic restaurant - with great Chef and culinary, hospitality team - which is popular by locals and tourists equally. The food is amazing - we had Asian food. The breakfast offers healthy food with fresh local ingredients, from farmers near by - on the buffet menu: fresh cuts, various breads, cheese, fruits, vegetables, sweets, and hot drink and eggs offered everyone as per their taste. The Service Team is the Gem of this hotel - we were just humbled by the treatment of the Team. There is a safe, free underground parking with plenty of places. Thank you very much for the special birthday arrangement, the upgrade, the birthday cake, the kind celebration and chocolates. We are already planning our return trip and waiting to spend few days at the hotel. Our experience was magical, and exceeded our expectation. Yvett

The room and bathroom were perfectly clean.

First class location. Very easy accessible. The hotel exceeded in every aspect our expectation. Very friendly welcoming staff. Comfortable rooms. Super clean in every aspect. Breakfast is simply delicious. A reflection of great food in Switzerland. We will recommend the hotel to all our associates and friends. Will definitely stay here again when back in Switzerland. A very short 20 minute drive away from Luzern and world class skiing slops of Engelberg.
