This historic hotel was built in 1264 and is located at the Markusturm tower in medieval Rothenburg. It features a traditional restaurant and free Wi-Fi internet throughout the hotel. We loved everything about this property. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We felt very welcome throughout our whole stay. We stayed in the family room and it was modern, spacious, clean and really comfortable. The breakfast was amazing with a variety of foods from sweet to savory. We ate dinner there one night (reservation recommended) and it was the best dinner we had our whole vacation. While my whole family loved their meal; I had the salmon and it was the winner. It was best salmon I’ve ever had. The location is exceptional. You are walking distance to anything you’d like to see. Overall, we loved our stay here and would like to return in the summer. I would absolutely stay here again.

It stands on the edge of Rothenburg’s Medieval town centre. rooms are royal! views are awesome - we got a room with forest view .. there was also a garden accessible from our room and a door led to a wide balcony area for sitting and views across the forest. the owner - Mr Otto is a lovely gentleman and extremely helpful. we enjoyed the stay because of him

Mittermeiers Alter Ego is centrally but quietly set in Rothenburg ob der Tauber. This 4-star hotel offers chic, modern design as well as a honesty bar with tea, coffee and water. Pretty much everything. It's the closest thing to staying at home, but even better. It's a good place for any kind of trip, it's close to the Old Town's gates, with free parking lot, a nice communal kitchen and a very very nice room. The shower itself is an attraction. Would stay there again if I plan a new trip in the future.

Offering free WiFi and a rich breakfast, this family-run hotel in Bavaria features modernised rooms in a historic building. It is situated in the medieval old town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Wonderfully atmospheric house right in the centre of Rothenburg. Easy to get your car there to unload your luggage and then park in a public carpark very close by (€5.50/day). The room was small but perfectly clean, and I found great value for money. The owners were super nice and friendly and extremely helpful. They also run the restaurant downstairs which is excellent and highly recommended. We lived our 2 days there. Thank you.
