Conveniently situated 1.5 km from the Hausberg ski lift in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Hotel Alpengruss features a terrace, and free WiFi. Hiking and cycling trails are easily accessible. Wonderful traditional alpine hotel with modernized facilities that still preserves the historic character of the building. The breakfast was excellent. I was particularly impressed with the COVID-19 protocols - gloves (provided) and masks required at the breakfast buffet, for example. Overall an outstanding stay - I will return.

Set amid the wonderful Alpine landscapes of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, this traditional 4-star hotel offers elegant rooms and excellent spa facilities. Everything was extremely clean. Staff was very nice and friendly. Amenities were exquisite and location was perfect! my family loved it! excellent to visit with kids all ages.

This accommodation features a minimalistic style with organic materials and is situated in the heart of the Garmisch district, just 800 metres from the Classic ski area. The wooden room we stayed is very spacious, modern designed, and with great mountain view. The hotel is very close to the train station and city center. The breakfast is fresh and delicious and the hotel staff is very helpful and friendly.

Offering a sun terrace and views of the mountains, the Bayern Resort Hotel (Adults only) is a family-owned hotel located in Grainau in the Bavaria Region, 1 km from the Zugspitzbahn. The staff was really helpful and friendly, the room was very nice and the pool was nice to make the most of the summer days. Really recommended

This 4-star superior hotel in Grainau is beside the Eibsee lake, directly at the foot of the Zugspitze mountain. It offers free Wi-Fi, a modern spa and many recreational opportunities. Beautiful location. Lovely food included. Great facilities including bike hire and free access to boats. Lovely staff. Wish we could have stayed longer

Landhotel zum Bad

This hotel in Krün offers country-style accommodation with breakfast, panoramic views, and a spa area. It lies near the Barmsee lake, a 10-minute walk from Krün town centre. Landhotel zum bad is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The place is modest and quaint. Very clean. Each room has a specific name. Don’t worry about having a bad balcony view. Every room with a balcony has an awesome view. Every staff member greets with a smile and is committed to making you feel welcome. I had to check in late, and the staff put my key in a lockbox outside, gave me the code. When I got there, they also left a nice letter taped to the front doors with my name on it. It was an invitation to the morning breakfast buffet (which is included with every room by the way) to start the “wonderful day”. Overwhelmingly positive vibes all around. Everything about breakfast was great. Their breakfast area was panoramic as they claim. The Coffee was fantastic. The hotel is also a mile hike from Barmsee and 2 miles hike to geroldsee. If you’re a fan of hiking and/or sunrises over scenic lakes, I suggest this place (but watch out for mosquitos when hiking! Bring bug spray. I went in july and they were bad at dawn and dusk) The price is very reasonable for such a great hotel. Sad I couldn’t stay there another day or I would have.

This 3-star, family-run hotel invites you to relax and feel at ease. The host was very kind, helpful, and friendly. Big bedroom, it was nicely appointed, well lit, with a refrigerator and modern bathroom and TV. Nice breakfast. Good coffee is available from when they open the cafeteria until they close it, 7:30 am- 9:00 pm. It is a quiet neighborhood close to town restaurants and Seilbahn Zugspitze, the cable car station to the summit, which was good because the other cable car on the Austrian side was closed all days of our stay due to the strong winds.
