The castle grounds as well as the rooms are all beautiful, and great for exploring...lots of little hideaways to find, and spectacular views of the river and valley below. There's also easy access to trails from the castle grounds that take you along the tops of the hills in which the castle sits. The staff were fantastic too - the staff member that greeted us for check-in (Mira, if we're remembering her name correctly) even called a local restaurant on our behalf, to order food for dinner.

Another hike a bit longer goes to a neighboring hill with great views of the town and castle for photos. The hotel was pleasant, accommodations reasonably priced and roomy, with access to a garden. The breakfast was super. Go to the Braubacher Weingarten and try the local wines.

Breakfast was as one would wish; the staff were accommodating and would cook if you required anything that was not visible, and the food was well presented. The menus were delicious and well-cooked by Chef Fetz and his team

Lovely Hotel, friendly helpful staff, Great location 2 minutes walk to the train station. Hotel situated on the Rhine. Plenty of choice for breakfast and plenty of it. Choice of eggs and bacon every morning. We ate in the Restaurant most nights, food was cooked to perfection. Room was large and comfortable. Good parking in front of Hotel. We really enjoyed our stay will visit again.

Went there with my parents for two days, excellent location, very comfortable hotel, rooms have great view and very clean, staff and owners make you feel as if you were regulars there, we felt very comfortable, and would definetly go back there

This family-run hotel in Kaub is situated just 30 metres from the scenic Rhine River Embankment. Features include a restaurant with terrace, rental bikes and free Wi-Fi in the entire property. Location off the beaten path, super quiet, 5min walk to the ferry, then 10min by car to Bacharach or Oberwesel. Hotel has a restaurant bar, host was kind and helpful. Breakfast plenty for a long day exploring the castles.
