My room was lovely and large, very comfortable, and spotless. The restaurant was good, too, with spacious outdoor seating for nice weather. The location was quiet and convenient for sightseeing and going into Edinburgh.

Set within acres of wooded parkland, this fascinating 13th century fortress is on the banks of the River Esk. We had a wonderful stay at Dalhousie Castle. We had been traveling around England and Scotland for a fortnight and had visited several castles on our trip. So we were searching for castles in which we could stay and the beautiful Dalhousie castle came up. Dalhousie castle is Scotland oldest inhabited castle and both the castle and the interiors are stunning. The luxurious Library, and various beautifully decorated lounge areas, the entrance with the staircase and the exquisite ceiling and the castle grounds where you can take beautiful strolls. We only stayed for one night, but had I known what a fantastic time we would have at the castle I would have booked more nights, but they were all booked up so we couldn't extend our stay. Everything was just perfect and exceeded my expectations. I give Dalhousie Castle my best recommendations.

The camp was in very good condition upon arrival and everything is available as promised. A good mix of camping experience with all facilities available. Perfect for families.

The name is accurate. Secret hideaway. Loved the rural atmosphere with horses in the field behind and the lovely little pond in front. The space was clean, comfortable and hi tech. Loved the hot tub that was ready to enjoy when we arrived. It was a quiet peaceful night of sleep.

Borthwick Farm Cottage Pottery er staðsett í Borthwick á Lothian-svæðinu og býður upp á gistirými með ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. The location was brilliant as we were going to a wedding at the castle. The pottery was so cosy and ticked all the boxes, both of the owners were so welcoming and attentive. We even got lucky with the chickens and had fresh eggs! We will definitely be returning. 5*****
