We loved our 2 night stay at this wonderful old pub! Malham is such a quaint, beautiful village and it's location is perfect for exploring the Yorkshire Dales NP with Malham Cove just a very short walk away... The room was very comfortable and the food at the pub was excellent, especially the breakfast. A big shout out to Tim who was charming and very attentive looking after us at breakfast both mornings!!

The staff are most helpful led by the manager Julie who can't do enough to ensure your stay is memorable. The food in the restaurant is honest and of a high standard and well presented. As long as Julie is there these high standards will be maintained one would assume.

The locationn was absolutly perfect ,in the main square in Richmond. We stayed two nights and were able to explore Richmond at our leisure . The room was fabulous, with a very spaceous ensuite with bath tub and shower. We could not ask for better. The staff were fantastic and the food was delicious

The parking at the back was narrow, but a bonus as the roads were quite narrow and busy.

The whole hotel was beautiful. Our room had the most amazing view over the Yorkshire dales. The staff were brilliant, accommodating and easy to talk too. The waiter was lovely as was the bar man. My sirloin steak was cooked to perfection and I am really fussy about my sirloin steak. Highly recommend Simonstone Hall Hotel.
