A lovely resort in every way! We were given a family room, which was perfect for a family of 4! It was comfortable, clean and very spacious. Staff all over the resort were warm and the facilities were lovely. There are several pools to swim in, and sunbeds were always available. Evening entertainment was wonderful for both, adults and children. There were also many sporting and fun activities throughout the day. In terms of food, the Greek restaurant was our favorite, and we could have eaten there all day, every day! The food was extremely fresh and flavorsome. We tried the Asian restaurant which was good, and the main buffet (quite busy) had several culinary themes throughout the week. The waterpark (which is awesome!) is in the hotel adjacent to Lyttos Mare, but they are both connected. There is a small yet convenient supermarket within the resort, in addition to a fun arcade room. Would highly recommend this resort!

The White Swan is not just a hotel; it's a family-run gem that goes above and beyond in making your stay truly memorable. I visited Crete with my sister to celebrate her 40th birthday, and prior to our arrival, I reached out to the hotel staff to arrange a surprise. They exceeded all expectations by decorating our room with delightful balloons, a perfectly chilled bottle of champagne, and a selection of delicious sweets. My sister was over the moon with this warm welcome, and I can't thank the staff enough for making it so special. Aside from the fantastic service, the White Swan's location is superb. It's conveniently situated close to shops, the bustling main street along the beach, and many other hotels. A mere 15-minute walk takes you right into the heart of the town. Our stay at the White Swan was a memorable and heartwarming experience, thanks to the wonderful staff and the thoughtful gestures that made my sister's 40th birthday celebration truly extraordinary. I highly recommend this charming family-run hotel to anyone visiting Rhythemno, Crete.
