In the Rio Dulce river near a 16th century castle the Tortugal Boutique River Lodge peninsula is bathed by almost constant on shore breezes providing a cool and refreshing place. everything about it ! the rooms are lovely , the location is perfect and the activities (kayaking, swimming around the property, taking a boat to the river, walking in the woods) in the property were fun! the food was excellent throughly the day including breakfast. lunch and dinner and the drinks are delicious. the staff and especially Angela and Ruby, were just so lovely and are So welcoming and professional. they helped us with everything. from the minute we arrived until we left, even with taking a bus back to Antigua and arranged the driver, taking a boat day trip and just made everything feel so nice. Angela is an exceptional caring person and made us feel so good during the entire stay. thank you Angela for making our stay so special.

El Hotelito Perdido is a little jungle hideaway located in a middle of Rio Dulce National Park. I had enjoyed very much to stay there. It was a perfect way to end my journey through Guatemala. A great place to relax to eat excellent food and to enjoy the nature and surroundings. Muchas gracias por todo.

Nastanitev Hotel Posada Stella Maris s 5 zvezdicami se nahaja v mestu Puerto Barrios in ponuja vrt ter skupni prostor za druženje. There is big enough and clean room with nice moutain views balcony. Also there is shared kitchen can be used. Very warm and helpful host. It is located Santo Tomas de castile, easy to take a taxi ( 30 GTQ ) or chicken bus( 3GTQ) from puerto Barrios center. Recommend to take couple days to chill out. There is walkable to beach and waterfall. The accommodation fee all goes to charity.

Nastanitev Reserva Natural Cañón Seacacar je v mestu Izabal, 45 km od znamenitosti trdnjava Castillo de San Felipe de Lara, in nudi vrt, brezplačno zasebno parkirišče ter teraso. Perfect place hidden in a small village. It’s the only accommodation in the village and has been build to help the local community. The first language in the village is Q’eqchi, the children are now learning Spanish in school from about age 5. The staff of the hotel is from the village and for them it is a place to learn and work in tourism. They are all very friendly and helpful. If you want to have a great Guatemalan experience in one of the most beautiful places of Guatemala, where the crowds don’t go (yet), this is where you want to go! I reached the hotel by a two hour trail that is insanely beautiful, constructed by the people of the village, easy to follow and a good climb to two wooden miradors with lake and jungle views. Always with the sound of absolutely fantastic river ‘sauce’ on the background. The next day I went down on a tube and they carried my bag down. The tubing in the river is what will drop your yaws!! Absolutely beautiful, a cañón with high Walls on both sides. Everything is well organized and clean. It absolutely worth a visit! I’m writing this review because I could not believe that I was the only tourist there (on a Saturday)! You will not regret your visit and you will probably (hopefully) write a similar review to help this village and the people creating a better future for there town. There are several projects ongoing, including deforestation! Go and enjoy jungle, river and peace while enjoying great food and comfortable accommodation(affordable too!)

Nastanitev Livingston Resort Hotel je ob obali v mestu Lívingston, le nekaj korakov od znamenitosti Plaža North Livingston Beach, in nudi vrt, teraso ter bar. The property was on the Caribbean with a beautiful view. It was away from the town, but a short Tuk tuk ride away. It was very quiet. The grounds were a tropical paradise. The food was delicious.

Nastanitev Hotel La Casa Rosada je v mestu Lívingston in ima vrt, teraso ter bar, na voljo pa je tudi brezplačen WiFi v celotni nastanitvi. Hotel ima svoj pomol, kjer te pobere ladja / trajekt. Na pomolu je streha, mizice, mreže, kjer se lahko sprostite in berete. Osebje v restavraciji je prijazno, jedilnica je čista. V suiti je postelja udobna in široka, soba je svetla. Nameščena je mreža proti komarjem.

Nastanitev Hotel El Reformador s 4 zvezdicami se nahaja v mestu Puerto Barrios in ponuja vrt, teraso ter bar. Staff was super friendly. Incuded breakfast was very good. Great shower with good water pressure.

Nanajuana Río Dulce has a restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and bar in Río Dulce. Among the various facilities of this property are a shared lounge, a garden and barbecue facilities.... The hotel is actually much nicer than the photos. Our room was upgraded and we were given an amazing room right next to the water and marina. The pool is large and very clean, And the food at the restaurant was excellent, really good quality, so although a little more expensive than in some places, it was definitely worth it.

Located in the middle of the jungle, 3 km from Livingston Town Centre, Finca Tatin Hotel features an extensive garden, a furnished terrace and hammock area. It is an amazing place, a little bite from Paradise, the only thing we regret was not staying longer. Staff is helpful, well-organized and accomodating, there are opportunities to relax, explore the beautiful area or go on tours. Great atmosphere, beautiful area, good food, highly recommend it!
