Unique rooms, modern decor, 5 star amenities, friendly staff and delicious breakfast. We enjoyed our stay so much, we decided to stay a 4th night! Everyone was super kind and friendly, especially Roberta!

This is my 3rd visit to Matera and this is the best hotel I stayed. The staffs are so kind and helpful in every way. The rooms and bathrooms were super clean and comfy. The breakfast in the balcony with a view is just healing and relaxing. We will definitely come back here for our next visit.

Le Malve Cave Retreat Cave Retreat is located in Sasso Caveoso, the historic part of Matera. It boasts air-conditioned rooms with a town-view balcony and a buffet breakfast. What an amazing experience to sleep inside a cave in the middle of this incredible place. Room was spacious, clean, fully equipped, new and clean linnens and towels. Everything very modern and cozy The shower is a 10 plus! Amazing! Pier was outstanding 🙏🏼
