Our travel group was three generations of extended family, 15 of us in total, with a variety of travel desires/needs. Everyone loved Agave in Citta! The kids were obsessed with the pool, our fancier members were very impressed with the stunning atmosphere and overall design of the hotel. The optional breakfast came in handy several times, the location was excellent, free umbrellas saved the day for our walking tour in the rain, and the staff was incredibly hospitable and helpful at every turn. The private rooftop hot tub (for one of the rooms) was magical; the Superior Deluxe room was ENORMOUS and fit all 15 of us comfortably for chatting and games. Back to the pool - having an indoor heated pool was a huge perk, and it was much larger than we expected (not huge, but we've experienced dinky pools made to look larger in photos - this was not the case at Agave in Citta).

Palace Lido Hotel & Suites is a 4-star hotel located on the sea promenade of Marina di Cecina, just a few steps from the sandy beach. Most modern hotel around this beach strip area. Well run and clean.Great help from all the staff. Breakfast by the roof top pool was excellent everyday. Panoramic Suite was perfect for our needs.

Set in a restored Tuscan manor house, Casamare Hotel offers rooms and cottages with air conditioning and heating. There is also a guest lounge and a dining area. Everything was perfect. The staff is awesome, super kind and friendly. The breakfast is maybe one of the best you will have, absolutely amazing. Great beds, super comfy. We asked for bikes and they gave us 2 for free to use in our whole stay. Also they borrowed us a beach umbrella.

Villa Martini features a large garden with swimming pool and spa bath. It is just a 5-minute walk from Castiglioncello Station, right on the promontory overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea. The location is very good, easy parking and the pool was beautiful. Breakfast was good and the staff at breakfast was very nice.

Offering a seasonal outdoor thermal pool and an indoor pool with hot water jets and hydromassage Hotel Delle Terme is set in the Tuscan countryside. We spent 3 nights here in July 2023 as a base for a wedding we were attending at a different venue nearby. We booked two rooms, one for me and my wife and one for our two sons. Rooms were spacious with a very large bed, a balcony area with chairs and plenty of storage room for our clothes and luggage. Pool was great with plenty of sun loungers and chairs and the water was really deep in some sections but also had a shallow child friendly section. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of options, plenty of food and great coffee. While we were here, we were travelling to a nearby venue for a wedding for 2 of the days and required a taxi for up to 10 people. Taxi company provided a Minibus for us and he turned up on time every day. There's a great little bar area by the pool that serves cold drinks, beer, ice cream, slushes, crisps and sometimes sandwiches etc. There's a supermarket just down the road that you can easily walk to. There's a sports club with tennis court and a good size gym located next door that you can use for a fee. Car park is really big with plenty of parking spaces. There's not a lot going on in the area as It's in a quiet location but the facilities at the hotel are good. Richard
