The host is very responsive and helpful via booking, and an English speaker which felt rare for us. The train from toyama has the most beautiful view and I'm glad we got there by sunlight. The location is great and next to the cable car to murodo to climb Mt. Oyama.

Offering a barbecue and ski-to-door access, Guest House Shiroikiseki is a 7-minute drive from Tateyama Station and set in Awasuno. Lovely place, friendly hosts, and an amazing meal 😋

The staff were really nice. I really like this place because of the staff. They went above and beyond for me. Also definitely a good stop if you're doing the kurobe alpine route.

Located a 7-minute shuttle ride from Tateyama Train Station, Tateyama Kokusai Hotel offers hot spring baths, a fitness centre and simply decorated accommodation with free WiFi throughout the property.... Chef and restaurant staff were super good. Had excellent Japanese Vegetarian food in 4 years. The Chef prepared it at very short notice. Large rooms and parking at site

Surrounded by beautiful mountains, Midagahara Hotel is located in a national park 1930metres above sea level. Fantastic location. Lovely nature and superb hospitality. We enjoyed it thoroughly. On request, they had offered vegetarian meal and it was excellent. Our special thanks to the chef and his team. We will surely come back for a longer stay.

Located in the Chubu Sangaku National Park, accessible by the Tateyama-Kurobe Alpen Route, Tengudairasansou（天狗平山荘） is set in Tateyama offering breathtaking mountain views and has a restaurant and a... Everything really. The atmosphere is cozy, safe and warm, and the rooms are clean and good size for the purpose. The location in the middle of the park is great, and we could get a lift to the top station for further trekking in the morning. The people working there were super friendly and super super helpful, they helped with maps, routes, lunch boxes, picked us up further down the mountain when the public bus had retired for the afternoon, and were just so sweet. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Surrounded by picturesque Northern Alps Mountains, Hotel Tateyama is located 2450 meters above sea level in Tateyama, right in the middle of the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. On the top of the mountain.Great views surroundings.
