This charming hotel is located in the very centre of the picturesque, small town of Talsi in Northern Kurzeme, next to Vilkmuizas Lake. I didn’t wait to see 5 stars hotel in small nice old town. There is an old hotel from soviet times: light oak parquet on public corridors and the same doors in rooms. And elevators remember L.Brezhnev) In rooms is cleaned and lace view was perfect!

Everything was great, the design is quite simple, if you don't expect something uber fancy, you will be happy. It is a country side house in the middle of the forest, with lots of little details and objects on the walls (interrior things). I went there with 2 small kids, my three year old loved it so much that he didn't want to leave, and with tears in his eyes asked if we could come back again. Waking up next to basically mini zoo helped :).

This is such a perfect place for weekend getaway. A place to spend some alone time or time with your person. That day was a snow blizzard, so everything was pure white. You can just sit and for hours watch through the big windows on the snowy landscape with a lake. Everything was simple and cosy, with heater, extra blankets, mini kitchen with all main things that are needed. And the owner was sweet and helpful. Come here and choose the cabin to relax and get away for the everyday's fuss.

The apartment is located in the very center, its windows are facing the beautiful lake and the promenade (hence the name!). Beautiful 16th-century church is on the hill nearby, and restaurants and cafes are on the same street. The place is super nice, the flat boasts an amazing interior, everything is so well thought through, there are paintings of the local artist on the walls, not to mention all the needed facilities and kitchen equipment. We loved it there, and I definitely recommend it to everyone visiting Talsi.
