This is a very classy hotel located on the Sørfjorden, a narrow branch of the Hardangerfjord, so narrow that you can see across the fjord from your room. Setting is spectacular. Spa facilities were excellent with several pools, sauna, hot tub. We hiked from the hotel up through the apple orchards along a river valley to a waterfall, about 3h walk, not too strenuous with great views. Dining on site is lovely but expensive; there are other options near by.

The View at Breakfast and also from the Room was Spectacular. They gave us a room where we didn’t have to climb stairs and it was easily accessible. The staff was were very kind. There were friendly sheep around the building. Always ask for a Table Fan which will be given to you on request, as u will need 1 for slight air circulation in the room….coz u will need to shut the windows coz of the water noise and mosquitoes sometimes.…or else u might feel stuffy or sweaty in the middle of the night…..this is a tip to be used in the whole of Norway.

We felt welcomed and staff was very polite and provided us with all needed information, location was perfect, if you are heading to Trolltunga. We took our breakfast package as a lunch for Trolltunga and it was a good choice. Also the restaurant at the hotel was nice for dinner.

Charming hotel, in a charming place. The owner of the hotel is adorable! Nice small, little rooms, great breakfast room! Confortable beds, charming bathroom, and good shower. The owner asked us if we would be interested in dining there and we don't regret it a bit! Great food and we have been spoiled because, when we did the check in, we told the owner that we didn't manage to eat a Norwegian specialty and she prepared it for us (also for the other guests, of course 😃) but on top of the proposed menu. She made us feel like we had arrived home. 💚 It is definitely the most emotional experience in Norway, and we thank her for that. The breakfast is happening in a small room where the people sit together and it's wonderful. Beside everything that is proposed as food, there is an excellent selection of jams and homemade made crepes (not pancakes like in all the other hotels). The beauty is in the details, and the owner managed to do that perfectly. Thank you again! 🙏

So pleasantly surprised! Our room was brand new, modern and clean, the bed was very comfortable, lots of space and nice view. The breakfast was nice, plenty of options and the staff was friendly. Overall, great expeerience and great value for money.

Nice view. Each cottage has its own parking right next to it. Friendly staff. There is shared Miele washing machine and dryer. Everything was clean. I would stay here again. Perfect place to relax after hike to Trolltunga!

Incredible staff, clean facilities, shuttle to trolltunga right on doorstep

We stayed one night in the main house and one in the cabins. Both were great but we found the cabin particularly atmospheric. The views, location, breakfast and ambiance were all excellent, but our fabulous host Gen was what made our stay truly memorable. His hospitality was amazing and he really made us feel so welcome. We would definitely come back and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to a friend. Thanks so much Gen!

Incredible location, well kitted out cabins and facilities. I was there during the offseason but everything still worked as it should. Friendly owner who gave clear instructions via message.

Beautiful location, the most pleasant unit. We stayed at the private cabin outside. The staff was very welcoming, and the cabin itself had everything we needed. The outside area is full of hidden gems and scenic spots. Only thing to note is that the mattress is very soft so take it into account if you suffer from back pains. Definitely recommend!

The host was very kind and pleasant. She gave us all the information we needed. The apartment was clean, cozy and the view was amazing. We enjoy it very much. Defenatelly recommended. We are thinking on coming back on summer season.
