Located in Stryn, 50 km from The Old Strynefjell Mountain Road, Lodgen Stryn provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The Lodgen consists of a historical house with several rooms, a heavily remodeled barn turned into a bar with modern rooms on top, and a garden area with sauna, jacuzzi, fire pit, bbq, kitchen etc. The place has been designed for outdoor life (there's a drying area in the basement) and meeting people either in the garden, at the kitchens, in the house, at the bar, or in the jacuzzi! It has a very relaxed and chill vibe, and Hans, the host, has plenty of recommendations for hikes, activities, etc. and makes sure everyone is comfortable.

Important, tickets for entry can be purchased at the hotel reception. The building is already quite old, but the comfort in the interior compensates for the resort character of the hotel. Beautiful hotel, with antique furniture in relaxing area. Nice patio outdoors with view on lake. Good location. Amazing food. Renovated barn is part of the hotel and has family rooms for 4 p: spacious and super modern. Basement has heaters for hiking boots and a washing machine. Breakfast was delicious, staff super helpful.

It's at the top of a mountain, next to a huge waterfall. the view is breathtaking. We had a problem with our shower (no cold water) but have been given access to the shower in the room next door. The electricity went out - they brought us candles! The atmosphere was remarkable and the staff very attentive. We slept very well. The breakfast was amazing as well
