This family-run hotel from 1937 is located in Fjærland Village, on the waterfront of the Sognefjord. It offers a large terrace that overlooks the fjord. The food was excellent - so fresh and beautifully presented - we were 8 vegetarians - all left very pleased! Best food in fiaerland! Staff was great! And amazing ambiance - the location was incredible - so beautiful! A must do is the floating sauna nearby

It's at the top of a mountain, next to a huge waterfall. the view is breathtaking. We had a problem with our shower (no cold water) but have been given access to the shower in the room next door. The electricity went out - they brought us candles! The atmosphere was remarkable and the staff very attentive. We slept very well. The breakfast was amazing as well
