Staff were pleasant and helpful with great customer service. A very comfortable room with fabulous views over the waterfront. Quiet and peaceful. Great breakfast and good Pizza restaurant attached to hotel -Syd's. Would definitely recommend a stay here. Only 40 mins drive from Kristiansand. A great place from which to explore the local area.

Este hotel Scandic se encuentra junto a la pequeña playa Bystranda, a solo 8 minutos a pie de la calle comercial Markensgate de Kristiansand. The hotel is very nice, very clean. The family room was perfect with two bunk beds and fantastic view on the titular bystranda. The breakfast was perfect. There even was a wafflemaker with waffles concoction. Perfect, very Scandinavian! What's also great is that the hotel is connected with Aquarama aqua park so you don't have to leave the building when you're going there. You can also lend towels at the reception since Aquarama doesn't provide them.

Thon Hotel Norge is newly renovated, and all rooms and meeting facilities, as well as the reception and restaurant has been upgraded. Clean and comfortable. Good location

Its a 15 minute drive to both farsund and Lyngdal. Having the entire house made it feel more like home. Kitchen was well stocked. We ate at the restaurant and had burgers and fish and chips. Both were excellent!
