We came to Norway from New York for a family trip across country from Oslo to Bergen in April 2023 and we had booked in for a night at Tuddal Høyfjellshotel to break up the drive. It was our first trip to Norway and had no idea that we were going to have one of the absolute best experiences of the entire trip together there. The place is simply beautiful. The people there are incredibly attentive and helpful. The food at dinner and breakfast is world class. The location is stunning. As a personal side note to the owners: My father came to the U.S. from Kongsberg when he was in his very early 20’s and started his new life and family. Growing up in Southern California where my brother and I were exposed to a lot of the antique Scandinavian items, colors, and style. My father was a committed collector at flea markets and swap meets everywhere, and anytime he came across an old collectible related to his homeland, he would proudly bring it home and share the story of it with us, and then find a place to display it in their home. When we came into the main building to check in to our rooms, I told my 17 and 20 year old daughters, “this…this is the story your Grandfather was trying tell us with all those things”.

Hotel is located in very calm area, surrounded by gorgeous Norwegian wild forests. We have been here out of the main season, thanks to that hotel was pretty empty. For a special attention hotel restaurant deserves. Both breakfasts and dinners are prepared on the highest level. Breakfast is very diverse and beautifully served. You will definitely find something for yourself. For dinner we can have very limited number of dishes but those are amazing. I think it is advantage, because it makes you sure they are made of fresh ingredients. For a special attention deserves the waiter (bald man with a beard and huge muscles 😂). He was very talkative and helpful and professional 👏🏻. (He definitely deserves pay raise 😊) we felt really taken care of.

Located only 150 metres from Larvik Train Station, Quality Hotel Grand Larvik offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with private bathrooms and TV. Many rooms feature balcony views of the Larvik Fjord. The breakfast is fantastic! We loved the breads and crisp breads, the cheeses, eggs and roasted vegetables.

De plus, votre réactivité et votre disponibilité pour répondre à nos questions ont grandement contribué à notre confort. Nous avons été sincèrement impressionnés par votre hotel et nous voulions prendre un moment pour vous remercier du fond du cœur. Vous avez réellement élevé notre experience en Norvège à un niveau exceptionnel, et nous sommes reconnaissants d'avoir eu la chance de séjourner dans votre logement. Featuring an in-house hair and beauty shop, the self-service Wilhelmsen House offers central accommodation in Tønsberg. The property is a 5-minute walk to public transport. Very modern and lovely rooms. Good location as well, by the hospital but quiet at night. The beds were cozy and the rooms were beautifully decorated. The cafe there is very tasty and staff extremely friendly. The breakfast is a good value.
