Exceeded expectations. However, expected sea views as per hotel name. A bit Fawltey Towers-- had to stand high on corner of room to see sea views between other houses in front of hotel. However everything else was perfect.

We found the property to be a great layout and safe especially for our kids. The cabins were clean and not outdated at all. Staff are so friendly and helpful! Location was handy to the beach and not far from the main town. This is the first time we visited Waihi Beach and hopefully it won’t be the last! We loved our time away there even with the rain!

Nice location, close enough to walk into town, excellent meal at the Peppertree restaurant which was a quick walk. Great facilities, free bikes to use. Room was lovely and clean. The spa in the room was awesome and we definitely made the most of it.

We had a wonderful weekend at the buffalo lodge. The view you get over the forest was just incredible and you feel like you live in the middle of the wildness. The apartment was so beautiful we were so in love with it! :)
