Built in 1865 and restored in 1902, Otira Stagecoach Hotel is situated in the heart of the Arthur's Pass National Park. It offers antiques throughout as well as stagecoaches and horse wagons outside. A unique, 'out of the box' experience. The hotel is a living museum, with antique paraphernalia and curios everywhere. The furniture in the rooms is amazing. Feels like you have stepped back in time to the 1800s. Lester and Sam were excellent as hosts. Meals were great quality and value. The bar (available to in-house guests only) offered beer and wine at reasonable prices. There's not too much accommodation in the Otira / Arthur's Pass area with dining and bar facilities, so the Stagecoach Hotel fills a valuable niche.

Boasting stunning views of mountains, river and the valley, Bealey Hotel is within a 30-minute drive of 5 ski fields. It offers a restaurant, barbecue facilities and free on-site parking. Great views from our one bedroom apartment. The room itself was large, highly speced and really comfortable. Dinners at the hotel were lovely, good quality food and the staff very friendly.

Boasting a patio with mountain views, a garden and barbecue facilities, Petes Place can be found in Arthur's Pass, close to Arthur's Pass Train Station and 700 metres from Arthur's Pass National Park.... Pete's Place really is the prettiest little house we have ever seen. The garden is beautiful and lovingly laid out; the interior is surprisingly modern and very tastefully furnished. We were all particularly impressed by the bathroom. The equipment was very good, we had all we needed. Everything is clean and in top condition. In our opinion, Pete's Place is the ideal accommodation for 2-3 people on site.

Set within a stunning historic rainforest and walking track, Jackson's Retreat Alpine Holiday Park offers 5-star accommodation with access to a garden and a barbecue. Kiwi cabin was really cute inside, very tidy, clean and cozy. The kitchen facilities were really spacious and the lounge was a cool place to hang out in the evenings. It was well signed and the staff were really friendly and helpful

Set in Otira and only 12 km from Devils Punchbowl Falls, Basic, Super 'Cosy' Cabin in The Middle of National Park and Mountains offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private... A great stay in a great location! We were thankful to have our own cabin to stay in the Otira/Arthur’s Pass area. Gary and Dawn were very helpful and took extra time to ensure that we were aware of what to expect from the cabin, what to make sure to bring, and that we were able to check in without issue. They were proactive and made extra effort to ensure a comfortable stay. They were also very quick to respond to any inquiries ahead of and throughout our stay. Check in and check out were super easy, and Gary and Dawn provided clear instructions and followed up so there was no doubt about getting in and out without issue. On chilly evenings, it felt like a luxury to be able to light a fire in the fireplace. There is also a heater if you need it, but the cabin is well-insulated enough that the cosy hut stayed warm enough through the night long after the fire went out. The kitchen is equipped with the appliances and accessories for preparing meals in the cabin. The cabin is spacious, has a full bathroom inside, and towels and linens are included. We were also surprised at how strong and fast the wifi connection is. Located in the beautiful mountain area, you can view the mountains from the cabin and on a clear night, the stars pop in the sky because it is far from light pollution. An all-around great deal for the area and a great home-base while exploring Otira and Arthur’s pass!

Set in Arthur's Pass, within 1.4 km of Devils Punchbowl Falls and 600 metres of Arthur's Pass Train Station, Mountain House offers accommodation with a shared lounge and free WiFi throughout the... The hostel was so clean! The beds were fresh and cozy. The upstairs lounge area has a tea & coffee station - with milk which was a lovely touch. It's right in the centre of the village too. Would definitely stay again (:

Featuring mountain views, Arthur's Pass Ecolodge provides accommodation with balcony, around 13 km from Arthur's Pass National Park. With river views, this accommodation features a patio. The host was outstanding, the view was amazing, it was not what I was expecting, but turned out to be better than anticipated.
