Again the hotel was quiet from the motor noise at night. The hotel manager spoke good English, was highly reliable and responsive and was always ready to help. The transportation from and to the airport the manager arranged was punctual and reasonably priced. Again the hotel is very clean. The breakfast was prepared fresh on the spot and served to our table by the kitchen staff who added greatly to the hotel. I personally would recommend Fitzcarrald hotel to Amazon visitors like us.

The area is beautiful, the staff is experienced, friendly, knowledgeable of the jungle, the animals and insects, accommodating of your interests and needs. The food is prepared beautifully, though the chicken is much better than the beef. The daily trips through the jungle, on the river, bird watching, fishing, visits to local villages, dolphin watching, stargazing were ALL fantastic and made the trip, well worth the inconveniences.

Awesome location, walkable to Plaza de Armas, cute and quaint hotel, clean and comfortable, shower was hot and had good water pressure, room was large with extra closet space and safe, TV and A/C, beautiful rooftop pool/garden, plus they arranged airport transportation. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely stay there again.

Hotel Selva Dorada is located in Iquitos. Every room is equipped with a flat-screen TV. Rooms have a private bathroom. Hotel Selva Dorada features free WiFi throughout the property. Staff is incredible profissional and friendly: Avil and all the other chicos are great! They will help you with restaurant, laundry and practical stuff recommendation. They genuinely are happy to help. The hotel is very clean, safe, breakfast included and centrally located just 3 blocks from main square. Rooms are very spacious, queen bed and most importantly with AC. Pharmacies and the supermarket Portales are just 1 block away. They are very flexible with the bookings and, in my case, due to a flight delayed, they allowed us to change the dates of the booking in a very attentive way.

Set in Iquitos, 25 km from Santa Teresa, Hotel Garden House features a restaurant, bar and free WiFi throughout the property. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. The staff were extremely helpful and nice. We got sick during the night and they brought us to the hospital and waited with us the whole time to translate and make sure we got the help we needed. The room was very comfortable and big

The breakfast was great as we could have it at 6.30am before our flight. the staff were very friendly and even booked us a taxi to the airport.
