Amazing location with impeccable grounds, serene architecture and stunning views. From arrival all the staff were very welcoming, and we really felt relaxed and comfortable. The Casa Romantica is a very nice suite for a couple. The views from the wall to wall windows of the vineyard at sunrise and sunset are truly special. The breakfast was simple, but all delicious and fresh. The wine was also very good! I could have sat at the infinity pool overlooking the Douro for weeks.

The bed is super comfortable. The shower was excellent, lovely hot water. The room we stayed in had two large windows with a beautiful view. The location for us was perfect for our sightseeing trips and it was always a pleasure to come back to a comfortable, spacious, clean room.

She was so nice with us and served us amazing breakfast! we loved her marmelade and orange cake that she made, it was delicious. the breakfast is surely the hightlight as the view in the morning is beautiful and so calm. i would recommend to everyone to stay at least 2 nights!

We had an amazing three night stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it! It is a small property with only a few rooms so everything is very clean with high attention to detail. The breakfast was very good and had a lot of options, but the dinner was some of the best food we had on our trip to Portugal! Pedro was super helpful in providing us with information about the Douro Valley, giving recommendations for any type of interest we had while there, suggesting restaurants and calling a taxi for us whenever we needed one. The wine tasting we did at the hotel was also very informative and we loved the wine. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, thought the price was very reasonable and were glad we chose this hotel over other ones we looked at in the area!
