The location is perfect if you want to hike or just to enjoy Balea Lake. Best price for a 3 stars Hotel in the area. Everything was perfect. Very clean, super quite and the staff were very helpful and kind. You can order in the restaurant by 22 which is a very good option. I highly recommend!

Hotel Posada Vidraru is set 200 metres from the Vidraru Dam on Arges River, and features a restaurant with Romanian and international cuisine. Rooms come with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels.... We liked the beds, the location (amazing lake). The pool and sauna were very nice, not crowded at all (2-3 couples at all times), very spacious, with an amazing view (the lake, of course). The pool and sauna are included in the price of the room, while the massage is not. The pool is open from around 8 or 9 AM until 9 PM, so there is plenty of time to visit it. We stayed in a double room with twin beds. We had the usual commodities: slippers, bathrobes, clean towels replaced every day, a kettle, minibar with water and soda. The staff was nice, the food was tasty. There are many activities if you decide to stay in the hotel - pool table, darts, air hockey, playground for children. We also took a boat ride.

Cabana Barlogul din Vidraru located in very great place. Very close to the main road and Vidararu Lake, in forest, quite place - you can relax for 110%. Room was very good, clean, enough space, beds are very comfortable. Restaurant food delicious, breakfast quite simple from one side and very good with a lot of variates /choices and more than enough for everyone including child or picky about food in any age. Owners are very polite and responsive. You will enjoy for sure to stay one night or long stay. Upon next time chance to visit Vidararu Lake I will stay here for sure and recommend to others ;)

Situated in Curtea de Argeş, 30 km from Vidraru Dam, Hotel THR Center features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. staff is kind, they help you for everithing. For example, I left the lights of my car on during the night. In the morning, the battery went completely down and the car did not start. I sad this to the staff and the hotel manage came with his car to recharge the battery, for free. Very very gentle! Position is really the best. It is in the main street of Curtea, where you can have a walk during the evening - lots of restaurants and bar, at the end of the street there's the Monastir... I really suggest this hotel

Surrounded by the lush garden, Casa Domneasca is located in the center of Curtea de Argeș. It offers an on-site restaurant serving international dishes, an indoor swimming pool and a gym. Very nice room and overall decor. Eating dinner and breakfast on the hotel's porch was great.

Set within the Fagaras mountain range of the Carpathians, Piscul Negru Hotel is situated on the famous Transfagarasan Road. Location in the heart of the Transfarahashan, an ideal place for an overnight break or for exploring the beautiful trail. Staff was great and breakfast is great value for money. Also was very helpful and honest to send a forgotten item all the way to Bucharest. Highly recommend!

The Posada Hotel complex is located in Curtea de Arges near the Master Manole Monastery and has been completely modernized in the 2021. The breakfast was shockingly good! I was in London 2 weeks ago and thought that breakfast inclus was very good. No comparison! Omelets and crepes made to order, fruit salad in cut glass bowls. Really outstanding. I also very much liked the staff. I was even allowed to practice my Romanian. Tip: Ask first before you try to chat someone up. They might be very busy,
