La Casa de Mamampan occupa un edificio ottocentesco situato in una posizione centrale, vicino al centro di Ahuachapan e al Parco Concordia. The location was fantastic right next to the plaza. It was clean and the room was large and comfy. The time of check in got mixed up but they were accomodating. For some reason they thought we were checking in at 5:00 am rather than pm. So we were happy they hadn't rented it out. This is also a historic building so the history was interesting. Right behind the hotel is a walkway with little restaurants and we had pupusa's that were great and reasonably priced and enjoyed walking around. They also have parking available in a vacant lot nearby. Also staying here gave us a little more time to explore on the Ruta de Flores. I wasn't too sure about it, but all was well in the morning. We really enjoyed our stay.

Incredible service and a healthy home cooked breakfast with fresh bread and delicious coffee. A very classy place without being pretentious, highest level of service always offered. Feels like staying at home, and the rooms are big and super comfy. Not to mention its located in the most beautiful town I've ever visited. I can comfortably say you will absolutely love your stay there. Las Casitas Hostal-Ataco is a must go in my opinion.
