The location was outside of the main tourist area of Sousse but in a fairly decent range to the beach area, and you could walk to some shops and restaurants. The apartment was spacious and did have heat and hot water that we paid extra for. There were large windows in the living area. The bed was comfortable, though on the floor, so it was difficult to get up and down from it. The balcony would have been a nice place to enjoy a coffee, but the weather wasn't cooperative during our stay.

This is a modest hotel at an outstanding price. There is nothing fancy here, but it is clean and comfortable and the folks that work there are friendly and welcoming. The location is great if you want to visit the sites around Sousse. It is a 3-minute walk from the train station, with many places to eat in the area. It is also close to the Medina with its many sites. Our room had a balcony and was quite comfortable. If we return to Sousse, we would be happy to come back here.

Very nice old house at the Sousse medina. Actually, it is two houses united: exquisite decoration and adaptation as hotel, with charming spaces to stay and relax, nice roof with views to the town and a small pool, a small library... And, since it is in the medina, you can easily arrive to the most interesting places to visit. But it is in a very quiet street, silent and far of the noise of the market and shops of other places in the medina. Very kind staff and good breakfast.

Exceptionally charming host and beautiful guestroom. The rooftop terrasse with a view over the Médina of Sousse was fantastic and even had a hammock. For breakfast, we enjoyed fresh orange juice and homemade jam. The Dar is kept in an authentic Arab fashion and feels like a place from 1001 Nights. Walking distance to the port, the grande mosquée and the fort of Sousse. Certainly one of the best places we stayed in during our roadtrip through Tunisia.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank first of all Mr Hassine for his outstanding and brilliant host welcoming us at the diar Andelous Sousse Tunisia as well as his team. They have made it so easy with thier charming, good customer service as well as their friendly skills on welcoming us . We felt so at home My mother has stayed the last 3 days on our holiday and had the best time of her life. Massive and huge thanks to everyone.

Wish I stayed longer! The hotel itself is beautiful, the room is exquisite, the breakfast is an absolute treat, and the service (especially Linda!). The guide recommended to me by the hotel, Mahdi, was also amazing and I appreciated getting to visit el Jem and the “real” Kairouran during my stay. I can’t recommend this Dar enough; it’s in the heart of the Medina and close to the sights of Sousse yet still relaxing and peaceful.

I love the friendly staffs, the location, the city/beach front view, the breakfast, the security measures taken, the spa, the outdoor pool, the clean beach and its clear water, the beautiful/comfortable room, and just an overall wonderful experience. This was my first time in Sousse or in Africa for that matter! I'll definitely be back agian! Thank you for providing me with a great new experience!

We’ve spent a great time at the Sussanna Hotel. We felt the homely atmosphere, the attitude of the staff was like in a family. Everyone was friendly and responsive. All questions that we had were quickly resolved due to the people working at the hotel. The room was very clean, the breakfast was delicious. Thanks a lot. If we return to Sousse, we will definitely stay with you again.

The host was very friendly and he always warm welcome to guests. He told me the culture and tradition in Tunisia and gave me many recommendations on places to visit. The room and common facilities were kept clean, and I also liked a breakfast he made. I would definitely choose to stay there again if I had a chance to visit to Sousse.

Toutou’s love and care for Dar Hkaïem and the guests are clearly illustrated the moment you step on to the street of the house. Tucked away in a quiet, quaint corner, the house truely exemplifies the Tunisian atmosphere. It’s a must stay for Sousse, and the friendly neighbourhood cat is a big bonus for any cat lovers out there ;)

The resort was amazing and clean. The staff were nice and welcoming; everyone of them was smiling at you and willing to help. The prices were low compared to the service and the sea view we had. It will definitely be my go-to hotel in Sousse. Big thanks to the amazing staff!

Omar and his family welcomed us with open arms. His kindness and facilities made our trip much easier. He offered a tour of Sousse and organised a day trip tour to Monastir and El Jem. So worth it! Traditional tunisian breakfast. A/C on every room Really recommend it!

Very nice cozy hotel, the staff were really friendly and helpful. The manager, Mr.Mohamed was really friendly and attentive to all our needs. There is also a restaurant/bar in the hotel and their food was good. Highly recommended if you plan to go to Sousse.

It's just an excellent place to stay in Sousse. The apartment is spacious, well equipped and really clean. Everywhere is walkable and the host is very communicative and helpful - we DO recommend this place to everybody!

I always stay in this hotel during my visit to Tunisia. It is a nice historical hotel in the heart of sousse old City.Also the owner of the hotel is very gentle man and friendly with customers.
