Even though it's a simple, local and antique hotel, our stay was great! Staring by Lee at front desk that was so kind and amazing to us. If you're expecting for a super fancy and impersonal hotel, this is not for you. The stay was great because it was simple, connected to the nature and cultural. You sleep and wake up with the sound of the animals outside and it was so beautiful. Breakfast is very nice and the area you get to eat is rich of details and, of course, more nature. Price was great for the offerings. If you are a nature and local culture appreciator, that place is for you.

Everything is there for you for a great stay - beach towels, binoculars and headlamps for visiting the volcano, umbrellas, boogie boards, snacks, fresh fruit… you name it - nothing is a problem!

El NEW Paddler's Inn- 3BR Hilo Downtown se encuentra en Hilo. Everything! This is truly the best equipped accomodation on the planet. They have thought of everything one may need, from a Thermos mug to various kinds of sunscreen. The house is gorgeously set up and the beds are so comfortable. We were very, very lucky to get to stay here. Thank you so much!
