The Thatch House Hermanus is located on the banks of the Hermanus Lagoon. This boutique hotel boasts an outdoor swimming pool and a tennis court. It’s was amazing. Gorgeous decor. Amazing staff. Food was excellent. It was so peaceful and idyllic. We will always remember this beautiful special place 💜

Grootbos Private Nature Reserve offers luxury accommodation featuring spectacular views of ancient forests and the whale watching haven of Walker Bay, just a 30-minute drive from Hermanus. The location is second to none, incredible ocean and mountain vistas almost wherever you look, but what really made this experience something special are the staff, they are attentive, engaging and friendly. What really struck me about the staff is how much they actually care about your experience, always asking “can I help you with x” or “we can do y if that’s better for you” etc without skipping a beat!

Located in Sandbaai, only 50 meters away from Schulphoek Bay, Schulphoek Seafront House features an outdoor pool and a garden. One of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed. Firstly, the sea view room we had was exceptional. The views were our favourite part about waking up here, but it was also huge and very comfortable. Incredible value for money. The breakfast served is a level above everywhere! A la carte with daily specials and seriously delicious. Staff were perfect in every way - friendly, helpful. Couldn't fault them at all. There's also a complimentary shuttle to take you where you want to go which is an amazing touch. Very reliable and comfortable. Honestly this place blew us away. From the beautiful gardens to the people running it, we would return in an instant!!

Harbour House Hotel in Hermanus enjoys the most prominent of positions in the heart of the old harbour area, flanked by the seaside and the bustling centre of this holiday town. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful and it was SO convenient for everything. Breakfast was great, infinity swimming pool was great, and being able to looksl for whales while swimming was an amazing experience. I would throighly recommend it to everybody!!

Misty Waves Boutique Hotel is a luxury, 4-star hotel metres from the historic centre of Hermanus. Chic, elegant rooms overlook the lush garden and terrace with sun loungers and an outdoor pool. Comfortable room with a fantastic ocean view and very friendly staff. We got an upgrade of our booked room.
