The whole place was excellent and the surroundings were wonderful. The Garden was very nice and the pool was really nice. If you want to relax, this is the perfect place to hear the waves and nature.

Offering views of the Atlantic Ocean, this hotel features a tennis court and air-conditioned accommodation. I'm usually not the resort type 'however' ANC Resort doesn't feel like a typical resort. It's a hidden gem located close to the ocean, quiet except for sounds of waves in the distance. The rooms are not rooms but small apartment style lodgings with everything needed if cooking's your thing. Andre at reception is one of the friendliest who's passionate about providing information of where to go and what to do. I can easily recommend ANC Resort to any traveller!

Featuring direct access to Baia de Água d’Alto Beach, this luxurious resort is situated on the island of São Miguel and overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. Superb hotel set in gorgeous grounds by the coast. Amazing views all around and perfect for a relaxing stay. The staff were welcoming and friendly, Marie-anna on reception was lovely. Buffet food was tasty and plentiful, with a great selection and to suit all tastes. Our room was fantastic with panorama views across the ocean, truly beautful.

We loved it here, very peaceful, if you want to kick back and relax then this is the place, the house's have all the amenities you need, staff really friendly and helpful, we had just done 3 islands and were ready for a rest, this place was perfect for that, would totally recommend.
