The Hotel is beautiful and the perfect escape. The in-house restaurant is very charming. Breakfast is also fantastic. Would suggest it is an ideal honeymoon/romantic break spot. The customer service is out of this world. First class all the way. Hire a car if you want to go out anywhere, but you could equally just stay at the complex the whole time.

Set in Boaventura, 21 km from Santana's traditional houses, Terrabona Nature & Vineyards offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a restaurant. We stayed 3 days in one of the beautiful villa’s on the wine yard. We loved the privacy and quietness. The villa has a nice living room with kitchen where you can relax or make a small meal. We tasted on of their own produced wines which tasted great. Every morning fresh bread was delivered. There is a good espresso maker. After a day hiking you can swim in the pool and enjoy the view to the ocean, take a sauna or bath in the villa. There are several very good restaurants just 15 min ride from the villa. Not to forget the bed, bedsheets, pillows are amazing. We both slept very good. If you open the door you hear all night the sound of the river. Had best sleeping score since months

The accommodation is well equipped with everything a family of 12 people and 3 generations could need. Astonishing views of the sea and the mountains.

Savoy Calheta Beach, facing the Atlantic Ocean, is located on Calheta Beach. This 4-star hotel features indoor and outdoor pools, spa, gym and access to the sea via the beach. Hotel was lovely. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nightly entertainment was a bonus.

El Pestana Carlton Madeira Ocean Resort Hotel, de 5 estrelles, està situat al cim d'un penya-segat a l'illa de Madeira i ofereix 4 restaurants, 2 bars i vistes a l'oceà Atlàntic. En general TOT, crec que és un hotel molt maco, amb unes vistes des de les habitacions excelente,habitacions grans, bany molt ampi, el tracte del perosnal és fantàstic, les instalciones també, amb 2 pisicines exteriors d'aigua salada i una amb acces al mar, dos piscines interiors,... i un esmortzar genial. Si vas amb cotxe de lloguer, hi ha aparcament, que s'omple amb falicitat , si he de dir alguna cosa menys possitiva de l'hotel és aquesta. Malgrat que l'hotel te moltes habitacion, no ho sembla ni tants sols a l'hora d'esmortar. als voltant hi han restaurants i fins i tot botigues de souvenirs. Segur que torno i torno a aquest hotel

Surrounded by tropical gardens, the seaside Pestana Grand Ocean Resort Hotel features the largest salt water pool on the Madeira Island. The hotel is located in a quiet area. No noisy neighboring hotels, casinos, restaurants, or "animations." Even hotel-based events and evening music are closed on the ground level, effectively silenced inside the building, and barely heard from the balconies. Breakfast and dinner buffets are excellent. If you want some tea, be there for breakfast no later than 9:15 (it's pretty crowdy after 9:30), but I can't complain about the food availability — you can get anything up to the breakfast closure. Wifi works very well (Cisco mesh). It was capped at 18 Mbps download/8Mbps upload when I tested, but I didn't see any issues with it and watched Youtube and Netflix flawlessly and downloaded almost 15 GB of videos for offline viewing.
