We especially loved the free use of the saunas and the infinity pool + breakfast had many healthy and yummy options. They even with great options for vegans, so we didn’t feel like we were missing out on anything. The views onto the ocean from the terrace were quite the sight. + cute little town with natural pools and very quiet at night

There is a private entrance at the aparthotel for the convenience of those who stay. The aparthotel has family rooms. Everything about this apartment was amazing. I can’t recommend it enough. The setting is beyond spectacular, well worth the extra drive from Funchal. The village is quaint and friendly, with a food market just up the street and beautiful trails nearby. The apartment is large, yet still cozy, and well maintained. And the hosts are wonderful. I can’t say enough about this apartment. It exceeded my expectations in every way. I’m hoping to be back as soon as possible.

Apartments were renovated keeping the original layout of the building and adding modern comforts as free High Speed Internet access. Superb location, spacious, clean - it was the top floor apartment split in two levels - 65 steps to climb to get to the bedrooms, but worth every step for a fantastic view of Funchal.

The family-run Vila Marta offers 8 self-catering studios featuring a seating area with a cable TV and a private bathroom with a bath, a hairdryer and free toiletries. Bed and linen are included and free WiFi is provided throughout the property. I would highly recommend the Vila Marta. It is set in a quiet location slightly away from the centre of Funchal and on a bus route which took only about 15 minutes to the centre. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and the cleaning service each day was a real treat. The apartment balcony looked over a rural area with a sea view. (See photo) The fresh rolls left outside the door each morning were very much appreciated as was the fruit and items in the fridge for the first day. We found Joel and Bruno to be extremely welcoming and helpful from the lift from the bus stop, welcome drink of Madeira wine and tour of the property on arrival until Joel dropped us off at the Aerobus stop on departure with a bottle of Madeira wine tucked in our suitcase! They do all they can to ensure your stay is enjoyable, providing any information you require together with recommendations for and booking of tours. Communication is prompt if you have any questions or require information via the App or email. We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 days in Madeira. Thank you Joel and Bruno!

Cleaning every day, amazing pools, they even gave us champagne for my partner's birthday for free as a surprise. Staff was always smiling and helpful. Location was very good, bus right outside and could walk to city center.
