This is a lovely place to stay and suited us very well. It is out of the main, busy and noisy area so is further to walk than some places but it is easy enough and we enjoyed being away from the crowds. The apartment is large and well furnished with a couple of nice places to sit outside.

Fantastic location. The place was super clean and the bed very comfortable. The car park is 5 minutes walking distance and super easy to reach. The host Geanfranco came to meet us and helped us with our luggage, then even drove our car to the car park and was most helpful in every way possible. Lovely place, highly recommendable.

Fabio was a great host - very responsive and provided us clear instructions on how to enter the accommodation. The rooms were clean and well appointed, and very comfortable. One tip if you are driving. Do not try to park near the accommodation as there is no street access and Taormina is a series of narrow one-way streets that offer no free parking. It is resident parking only. Drop your car at the main parking garage at Parcheggio Lumbi. A free bus will take you to Centro and then it’s a short 5 minute walk to the accommodation. The location is excellent. It’s a short walk to the Greek theatre, and the main pedestrian part of the town. There are many restaurants within walking distance, so once you get there it’s very easy. Great stay. Thank you, Fabio.

Excellent location, well equipped apartment, short walk from the Porta Catania parking lot. We intended to use the kitchen for breakfasts, but we ended up eating supper there as well. The Eurospin discount grocery chain sells an excellent bolognese sauce in a jar, fresh pasta and real grated Parmesan. Quite as good as a restaurant. We used the washing machine quite a bit. (Note: after turning the machine on and selecting the cycle type (15 minute was best for us), you have to press the Avvio/Pausa button to start the cycle.)

Wonderful apartment located close to the center of Taormina. Host was super nice. Private parking was available close to the apartment which worked out well. Beds were the most comfortable that we had slept in during our trip to Sicily. Ocean view from the balcony was spectacular. Although it was very centrally located there was minimal road noise, and almost nothing during the night.

The hosts were amazing! Anything we needed they would provide, and they were always close to hand if we needed advice. The apartment was superb value for money and I’ve never stayed anywhere where I couldn’t fault anything. This place is a must stay, the location is perfect, the apartment was perfect and so were the hosts. I was so lucky to find this for my partners 40th birthday and what a surprise it was! The hosts even provided croissants, condiments, teas and coffees for arrival. Also the communication before the stay was great and they were so friendly we were very blessed to have stayed at Villa Valverde. Also to top it off, the rooftop view from our apartment was beautiful day and night, you could see castelmola and mount etna, plus the beach! Taormina is a must see location and we had the best holiday!
