I loved the romantic atmosphere of the hotel and the cozy single room. Everything was spotless clean and worked well. I had a very short stay, but I would really liked to stay longer. The personnel (Daniela) was very friendly, accommodated a last-minute change of date and waited for my late arrival, even if we had agreed on automatic key delivery. The location is very central and suited well my need for a short stopover near the train station

It is a small and charming town, but there is really not much to do, you can see all the sights in a single day. But if you're planning to explore the surrounding areas for the lakes and hikes, then it is a good base location.

We only stayed one night in Villach on our way to an extended stay in Italy. We had a wander round the old town however and it appeared to have many very interesting features. We intend to come back for a longer stay next year to explore Villach and the surrounding area of beautiful Austrian countryside.

Fabulous little city, romantic downtown, great church. Shopping and pedestrian zone superb. Landskron castle a must visit, Food and amenities super. Downtown hotels are very attractive and stylish, the river Drau is impressive. The lakes, Faaker and Ossiacher are brillant and pristine. Would go back in a heartbeat, stay was too short.

A nice and quiet town, however there are a lot of places to hang out at night and have a good time. Good restaurants not just typical ones. Perfect for a summer or a winter vacation: ski-area quite close, lakes very near, biking and hiking route

Nassfeld mountain filled our day with great excitement, such as: Cable car, flying fox adventure park and a cool slide down the mountain. Minimundus and few hours by the lake were nice too. Other than that we were short on ideas of things to do nearby- So we recommend to spend 3 days max here.
The staff is very welcoming, knowledgeable, and flexible to humans and pets alike. This hotel is in a perfect location, just across the train station, with ample parking possibilities, something appreciated, especially when traveling with a pet or a person with restricted mobility. I especially commend the reception area with ample space and the ability to work some extra hours even after checking out.
Needed to come to Villach for business and decided last minute to make a trip out of it, come a day early and bring my family with me. Even though I booked a day in advance check in went smoothly, apartment is very clean and equipped with everything you might need, view over lake is wonderful, easy parking and ca. 10min by car to the centre. It was exactly what I expected and a little bit better.
The location was excellent as it was very close to the city center, shopping, restaurants and easy to get to and from the autobahn. We found the room somewhat small but clean and the bed large and comfortable compared to a lot of German beds. The dining room was very inviting and the breakfast was hearty with lots of options - all very good.
We really enjoyed the stay. Pension has a perfect location in Villach. The staff were very kind and the apartment was clean and nice. Also it is a good combination the apartment where we have kitchen corner but offering breakfast as well at the pension.
The apartmen has a really large and nice shower-bath.
The hotel employees were really helpfull at every stage of my stay and the breakfast is amazing!
At lots of things are home made and there is a huge choice.
Regarding the hotel location, it was perfect for me: in front of the main train station and the bus station as well as close to the city center.
We cycled through the area on the Alpre Adria bike route. We loved exploring the city by foot and took a day off from cycling to do this. I felt like I was staying in a museum. We woke to the sounds of the church bells. We enjoyed the courtyard with its vegetable and herb containers.
Very nice and clean hotel. Kind personnel. Parking free of charge. Excellently quite rooms: despite close street, we slept like a babies. If I come back ever to Villach, I certainly will choose this hotel again! Thank you for your hospitality BB Hotel !
The hotel is really nice, the location is handy for the station and the local cafes. I really liked the room. Everything was clean. There was water to drink. The shower worked fine and the towels were soft. The mattress was comfy and soft.

For recommendation
Wonderful traditional hotel steeped in history in beautiful Villach. Very convenient location with parking nearby. Walkable to everything. The staff is the star, however, friendly and the hotel is beautifully maintained.
A great, clean apartment in the very center of the city. Everything you need for your convenience is included. The only challenge is carrying your luggage up if your apartment is on the 3rd floor.
Great place to stay! Super clean, cozy and very well equipped, you can tell Mrs.Anita thinks of every detail. We felt like in a 5* hotel with those little perks of pillow chocolate and slippers.
