room was a good size , had mini fridge , bottled water, towels , and the basic amenities.
arrived at 8;30 pm Monday , walked 15 min to get to the registration lobby was very confusing and not easy to find.
as we checked in , noticed a sign of water to be turned off midnight to 8 am , we asked the reception who helped check in he did not know that until we brought it to his attention.
There was no restaurant open on site , so we had to leave the hotel after checking in to grab a bite.,, this was very inconvenient , multiple restaurant on site but none was open to serve or order take out , which i find it inconvenient when you are at a 24hour casino .
and there was nothing around to order food.

We travelled to enjoy dinner at THE COOK SHOP, a restaurant my husband likes but we also enjoyed driving around some of the neighborhoods, especially little Italy. GREAT coffee and pastries at Gina Cafe & Bar. We would be regulars there. The coffee was terrific and the Pastries were extraordinary. The ambience was great too as was the service. Wish we lived closer.
We visited Belle Isle on the way home and that was terrific too.

It has a very nice park area along the Detroit River, with many walking paths. Being across the river from Detroit a person has many opportunities to go to Detroit for sporting events, concerts or anything else one can think of.

We can’t really complain we had a great time. The only complaint I have is the cost was high for a one night stay and the wifi wasn’t working the greatest. Overall it was a great time and we would love to return in the future

We took this trip on the recommendation of an article in the Toronto Star of a weekend trip to Windsor (we live in Toronto) and I agree that it's an ideal place to explore for a weekend. Stay on the riverfront near downtown if possible, it's a great view and downtown store and restaurants are in easily walkable distance. Take a river cruise for an overview of both the Windsor and Detroit waterfronts. Learn about the history of Canadian whisky at the Hiram Walker and Sons distillery and tour the adjacent planned city of Walkerville set up in the 1980s. Sample Windsor-style pizza (we liked Armando's). Jackson Park is beautiful, and visit Dieppe Gardens (with the historic Spirit of Windsor steak locomotive and the Windsor Sculpture park along the river front.

We were booked to Stay in Windsor for 3 nights. We left after 2.
Our trip there was for a concert and to have fun at the casino. The casino was the most underwhelming casino I have ever been to. Didn't really explore much of the city but from what we did see, it was definitely way more terrible than I was expecting. Most of the people we met though were very nice and friendly. And the couple bars we visited were great, which were Eastwoods Grill and the Loose Goose. Staff at both places were top notch!

The hotel room were very nice and comfortable.
The hotel room were very nice and comfortable. It would have been helpful if there had been some information in the room regarding restaurants and food services at the hotel. A map of the facility is needed in the room, I understand there is pool but it was not referenced on any of the signs throughout the facility. At least not on the first or second floors.
The location was easy to reach from VIA's Rail station in less than 20 minutes walking. It is very close to the waterfront with great trails along the Detroit River. Walking to downtown you add another about 20 minutes. I was upgraded to a room with nice view over the river and a balcony. The bathroom was spacious and equipped with all I needed. Shower worked well. I did not miss a TV but other people might do. I found both the room and the bathroom very clean. It was nice to have complimentary spring water and apple juice.
Owner is so greedy or so cheap . They don't even put tea in the room .
And the room is so sp do dirty..
There's poo or shit on the wall in the bathroom and on the bathroom door
And the room is full with ants & bugs and flies and the room is the worst i ever seen in my life and I saw so many motels and hotels in my life but this one is really the worst and is not worth $20 and if I could I will give them -10 stars . minus 10 stars .
As always, Nikki and her family delivered. The last time I was here was in 2016 with my now late wife. I went with my current partner, and the beds were just as comfy, the rooms were just as clean, the WiFi was just as fast, and the value was just as exceptional as it was five years ago.
Is this this Ritz? No, it's not. But, it's the best place for the price in all of Windsor. HIGHLY recommended.
Great location, much more reasonably priced compared to the Casino. Beautiful water front park right in front of the hotel. Lots of varied restaurants near by that can accommodate varied tastes and price ranges. Note that on the evening of concerts you will need reservations as everywhere near the casino is VERY busy. Staff were friendly and helpful.
great clean rooms, and ironically cheapest hotel that night in the city. location is perfect, amenities are unmatched, only dealt with the staff during check in but she was fantastic! if the rooms were this cheap all the time I’d be more prone to staying here for sure.
Room was very clean. Staff were immensely helpful and cheerful. Breakfast was good but I didn't eat a lot. Location was close to restaurants and shops, and conveniently equidistant from downtown and airport.
The hotel's location and view were excellent. Additionally, all of the restaurants and attractions were only a short drive from the hotel, and the staff was courteous and competent. The cookies taste good too
Very nice location, conveniently located downtown with quick access to the train station, theatre, and nice restaurants. The staff was nice and responsive to messages. The room was comfortable and clean.
Specious room.
Relatively calm location and not far from the university area, downtown, the bridge to USA & the riverside, etc.
Parking availability.
AC was on before we've arrived.
