Lovely hotel, very reasonable price. The beds were the comfiest I have stayed in for a long while! Free parking was also an added extra. Close enough to the town center to walk. Lots of steps on the way back but we enjoyed the exercise.

We found Puerto Rico dGC to be a pleasant town, which benefits from much more sun than the north of the island we found (can be raining up North but sunny down south).
Yes, the architecture could be much better, but that is like every resort on Gran Canaria - what happens when property developers rule.
The harbour is attractive with some reasonable restaurants and two lovely informal ones on either end of the harbour (Vivaldi on the Eastern End and in the west - forgot name) it's the only one right on the harbour.
PR has a big shopping mall which I am sure shoppers will delight in, but as we hate shopping... The hypermarket is great.
We had a hired car, but the bus service seemed to go everywhere on the island. It can get crowded to popular places like Puerto Mogan (PM is massively over developed, very crowded and the market by the bus station is rubbish - avoid market days!). There is a ferry service to PM which we used on the return trip. It was a very pleasant trip; we used it to go south one day, just for the ride.
The downside is it is a long journey to get to the inland towns which are further north. As the crow flies, very short, but you have a choice of small scenic roads - loads of hairpins and some impassable if raining - or a long diversion trip up the motorway and still the small roads at the end. Plan 1.5 - 2 hours each way if driving.
Overall PR was probably the nicest resort we saw. We wouldn't go back to Gran Canaria, much prefer Lanzarote, but we had a good time; glad we went and pleased we chose Puerto Rico.

I like Puerto Rico ..
I like Puerto Rico .. This was my 31st visit so that speaks for itself
The weather is always good here in January There are a lot of steps so it would be unsuitable for people with mobility issues. The restaurants I would recommend are El Gaitero San Miguel Pinocchio
Big Daddy’s Don Quixote I would avoid staying at Porto Bello apartments

Main marina and surrounding area itself is ok but nothing to write home about .there are shops along the marina and they are rip off . My wife asked for a standard packet of paracetamol was €11.80 so she obviously didn’t purchase and bought them elsewhere for under €4.
We stayed outside of the main area in Gloria palace hotel which was fabulous

Lovely beach and a pleasant walk to Playa de Amores along a promenade. There are also 3 shopping centres beyond The Angry Birds adventure park with masses of shops, supermarkets and restaurants. The newest one Mogan Mall which has free buses from Maspalomas wasn't very busy but has free Wi-Fi. We also watched three young men playing in an impromptu group knocking out some lovely music. Funnily they were playing on the edge of town so weren't seen by many people. Pity really.

Amazing apartments with a little garden, beautiful surroundings, great location, food was delicious with great variety. Food quality is average but enough selection everyday to find something tasty and decent. Reception was really helpful and super friendly. The apartments are super well equipped, in decent condition. beds are huge and comfortable. Swimming pool is clean, water had nice temperature. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended our stay and reception was helping us and gave a good quote.
The hotel gives the perfect solution if you want nice facilities but don’t like the idea of “all inclusive”. Children have a very good time but it’s not a playground (which I like). The pool is a lovely infinite pool and big enough for kids to play and others to swim at the same time. Both the lunch at the pool bar and dinner at the hotel restaurant are very good and reasonably priced.
Stunning hotel, super comfy beds, very friendly & helpful employees, immaculately clean & tidy, beautiful views, perfect pool/hot tub & Jacuzzi and convenient pool bar, very tasty and fully stocked breakfast/lunch, regardless of needs/wants. Parking available, very safe and secure, spacious rooms, quiet area, shops/bars/restaurants within easy reach by foot.
Could not fault this home away from home hotel just amazing staff room location 100% fantastic we were made to feel so welcome and they even decorated our room for our anniversary which was so special we will not look for anywhere else in Puerto Rico next time we visit as we just felt like part of the family thankyou so much your all outstanding
Room was spacious and comfortable. Excellent breakfast each morning. Great view from our balcony. Only negative was the proximity of too many sun loungers at the pool area. Not easy to move between beds and lack of privacy. I wouldn’t choose to stay at the pool during July and august when I imagine the hotel would be very full.
This complex has the potential to be five star ,,, how ever the apartments let it down ,,, there is
absolutely, no comfort ,,,, And you will need a chiropractor or physiotherapist after u sleep on the beds ,,,, please sort the apartments out ,,,, its the best
Location in Puerto Rico ,,,
Beautiful hotel, Bong the bar man was so lovely and welcoming. Had a lot of fun here.
Location was amazing, just a 10 minute walk to the most beautiful beach. And only a €3 taxi to Puerto Rico for dinner and €12.50 taxi or €4 bus Puerto Mogán for exploring.
All inclusive you don’t need to go anywhere the whole stay , but if you like to break it up a little it’s 3 minutes in a taxi from , the amadores beach , 3minutes from Puerto Rico centre and 3 minutes from the Europe centre all in a taxi , cost 4-5 euros
This hotel was spectacular. I would have guessed we were walking into a 4* hotel. Could not have asked for more. The restaurant on site was also great and the cocktails were lovely. Close to both the Europa Centre and the large market in Puerto Rico.
The staff was very friendly and and helpful. Even though this is not a hotel the rooms were cleaned every day. Everything was in order and I would recommend the property to families. The view of the beach and the sea is stunning and breathtaking.
Villa was fantastic, very clean and spacious.
Great location as we had a car and still very close when we went to Puerto Rico by taxi as very cheap. 6 Euro.
Cleaner came and changed bedding towels etc.
Hotel rooms are amazing. Cleaned every day, staff can't do enough.
Jacuzzi suite a must.
5 mins from Puerto Rico centre on the flat and right next to new shopping complex.
Very peaceful
This hotel was recently renovated so it was beautiful! The mattress and the pillow were the best we have ever had at any hotel. They gave us good solid night sleep during our stay.
Apartment was clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable. Balcony was large and private with full sun from midday. Great view of Puerto Rico Marina, beach and hotels. Short walk to beach.
location is perfect for both Amadores beach and Puerto Rico shopping centre.
apartments are always clean and well
equipped.
chilled hotel with relaxed quiet atmosphere
Second time to stay in this hotel, comfy beds friendly staff and just pure luxury don’t waste your time getting any other hotel the best in Puerto Rico!
