to do a few years ago. Very sad really

Great hotel on the outskirts of town, with ample free secure parking. Staff are excellent and speak good English. The rooms are huge, well appointed, very quiet and comfortable although our bathroom would have benefited from a shower curtain to make showering easier. The food in the restaurant is excellent and well priced.

Plenty to see around the Chateau and its grounds.
Hard to get to the Armistice clearing to see the train carriage without your own car, there's no real public transport to it. But exploring the area around there could make an interesting day There's a memorial to Buchenwald that I did not get to.
The pedestrianised old town is pleasant to walk around with a great Town Hall.

Really lovely old town with buildings from different centuries - plus a royal palace. A vast forest is adjacent to the town with lovely villages. Lots to explore. We only stayed 1 night and had wonderful moules frites and fish & chips at Leon de Bruxelles. Very fresh food & very clean with excellent service.

Interesting attractive historic town.
Interesting attractive historic town. Lots to see nearby Inc in particular the armistice clearing. Good choice of restaurants and cafes. Although it is a minor point the tearoom at the Palais is crazy. Very attractive setting and tea served in exquisite China. But tearoom is a long walk from the Palais and has no toilet And the tea was a little cold.
The location is very convenient, right next to the train station, with sufficient shopping and dining options available in the area even late in the evening. Compiegne feels like a quiet and orderly town and there don't seem to be any shady individuals present, that one can normally encounter in vicinity of train stations. The concierge of the hotel was extremely attentive, a real professional in his trade. The room was furnished with some nice, vintage pieces, a pleasantly soft carpet and had double door, which was good for soundproofing.
This is a compact but well-equipped studio very close to the chateau at Compiègne. It's ideal for exploring the local area (free parking close by) and has everything you would need for a short self-catering holiday. Due to delays on Eurotunnel, I didn't arrive at the property until 2 am but the owner was very helpful in telling me that this wouldn't be a problem (in order not to disturb the other residents of the block, though, arriving after midnight should not be encouraged!).
A wonderful apartment, perfectly equipped with everything you may need even for a prolonged stay, with two very comfortable bedrooms, a large living room with a dining table, and a terrace. It is right in the centre of Compiègne, with a huge supermarket just downstairs. The owner was very friendly and easy to communicate with. As a side note, it is on the first floor with no elevator.
We stayed here underway to Paris. A great hotel to have a night of sleep before proceeding. We arrived around 2AM, where we were welcomed very kindly by the receptionist. The rooms looked like they were recently renovated, very stylish and clean and including a very comfortable bad. The breakfast is not very extensive, but the food itself is more than fine.
It was a very nice hotel to stay. We will come back in the near future to stay a bit more longer. The swimming pool and the Hammam was very nice and functional. The breakfast in bed was marvelous. The facilities are new and modern. The restaurant was very good and the prices are correct. We really enjoyed our stay.
Modern business type hotel on outskirts of Compiègne. Spotlessly clean, several chain restaurants close by, very good meal at Leon. Close to bike route. Breakfast excellent, fresh and great price. Bike parking not secure so they let us keep our bikes in our room.
Hotel reception staff was very helpful and accommodating in regard to my arrival time and check-in time.
The decor of the hotel is clean, warm, and pleasing. Breakfast was satisfying. Location is -short- walk to city center.

This is very close to what I’m looking for in a hotel. Very friendly staff, nice updated room and a great overall atmosphere. The beds and pillows are really comfortable. Lots of bang for your buck
Lovely property with comfortable en-suite rooms in a quiet suburb of Compiègne (which we visited for the first time on our way back to Calais). Owners delightful and very helpful. Good breakfast.
Very good option for a stay in Compiegne. Hotel is new, clean with a nice staff, lounge/bar area and a very good breakfast. Ample (and easy) car parking to complete it. Recommended
