    Lovely resort. No funfair!

Lovely resort. No funfair! Nice promenade along lovely beach, with pleasant gardens alongside. Two Country parks within walking distance so ideal for those with young children. Ideal spot for walkers as along a coastal path and within easy reach of Bempton Cliffs, Flamborough Head, Scarborough and Bridlington.

Filey is perfect for young families, or like us, a holiday with our grown up kids, a lovely old fashioned seaside town with plenty of pubs some with live music, and good places to eat easy to get to Brid or Scarborough on bus or train.

Plenty of walks. 3 miles to Filey along the beach or clip top path. Turn the both way and you can walk to Reighton. Both paths can be muddy. Good area for dog walkers. Beach is clean and save to play on. No facilities until you get to Filey. Filey is a short drive away, good pub food. Very friendly people. Filey has a large supermarket.

The bay is a lovely place to stay we are a couple with no dogs so always request an apartment that hasn't had any pets in . I love Filey as I’ve holidayed there from being a young girl, so for about 65 years so I may be biased. Filey has a magnificent stretch of sandy beach that’s dog friendly from 1st October to 31st March and the rest of the time the stretch in the middle does not allow dogs. There are lots of things to do especially for children with a park and playground for youngsters. It’s also a great place to stay and have access to many other towns and villages a short drive away.

Absolutely gorgeous house, the house is so comfortable with plenty of space ideally placed in a quiet street a minutes walk from the centre of Filey. On street parking outside with a dropped kerb and reserved parking space. The owners were in touch before we arrived and once we got there to make sure everything was ok, a little welcome pack and milk in the fridge were very much appreciated. Everything was immaculate and it really did feel like home from home. We will definitely be looking to return in the not to distant future.

Hilltop House was stunning with incredible views. The little extras such as the welcome pack, milk, fresh bread and eggs made it 5 star. The house is equipped with everything you need for your stay. The sky TV package was very welcome as we had a couple of days of bad weather. The village shops and local pub are 5 minutes walk away. There is easy access to Filey, Bridlington and Scarborough. We did some walking and found easy routes straight from the house to Filey and the seaside. An excellent choice, we will be booking again.

This is an exceptional bed and breakfast. The bedroom was spacious and very comfortable. The shower and bathroom were compact but still in excellent condition, with good hot water. The proprietor was very welcoming and friendly, and made us delicious breakfasts chosen from an extensive menu each morning. The hotel itself was in a quiet location no more than 10 minutes away from the station, town centre and beach on foot. The place was spotless. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

Alison, Jim and Jackson are a joy, you are looked after like a member of the family. The rooms are clean, comfy and you have everything you need to make your stay lovely. There is parking so the stress of going out for day is eliminated as you can park on return. The guest house is well placed to see Filey and within walking distance of the town. Breakfast is exceptional with always a little extra. Would fully recommend this little gem A +

Sunrise Cove worked out really well for us (Mum, dad, 8-year old daughter and dog). Apartment was clean, modern and comfortable. The Bay resort has excellent facilities (warm, indoor pool and gym particularly welcome) and the beautiful beach is 10 minutes walk (dog really appreciated that !). Filey is a 5-minute drive with lots of places to eat and has its own well maintained seafront to stroll along. We would definitely go back !

Lovely comfortable and modern property that had everything we needed for our stay. Just a short walk to the beach and the location is very handy for Filey itself as well as the likes of Scarborough and Bridlington. We were able to park to the rear of the property okay all week. Very friendly and accomodating hosts. Had no issues with noise from the surrounding area. Happy to thoroughly recommend.
