beautiful location on the vineyard, very peaceful but quick access back into town/motorway.
The Quinta had everything we needed, the beds were really comfortable and the place was very clean and half way through the week we had a clean and change of bedding.
when we arrived the fridge had essential items and The owner brings breakfast each morning which was fresh bread and pastries.
we would definitely stay here, the pool is lovely but we didn’t have the weather but if the sun was shining it would have been perfect to relax and enjoy swimming with the children.

We were unimpressed with & frustrated with No offer to help elderly with luggage, across rough surfaces from the parking area . No resolution for overly warm room, & malfunctioning safe.
Issues with refrigerator not cooling, nonpaved surfaces & uneven granite pavers making luggage transfer difficult . Room was not properly readied with the overly warm temperature and 3 tissues left in tissue box & malfunctioning safe & refrigerator

We have visited more around Arcos de Valdevez than the city itself. Easy to access ATMs and cafes and restaurants. Had lunch in the city, a very good restaurant at Rua Dr. Vaz Guedes, I don't remember the name, I believe was O Lagar.
By the way, the dessert Bolo de Discos was very good

It is a nice small town with a lovely centre and quite some restaurants to choose from. From Arcos it is easy to explore the surroundings. We went to Sistela (passadiços, which were beautiful) and Monção (worth a visit). And visited Quinta do Santiago where they make great Vinhos Verdes and Alvarinho.
Other cities nearby are also very nice, but we already knew them (Ponte de Barca, Ponte de Lima, Viana, etc). And of course Peneda-Geres, which is beautiful. Very beautiful part of Portugal

Great little town in the heart of various wine country regions, surrounded by other small towns, each one cuter than the last one. The National Park is also a stone's throw away. It's a must-visit.

The place was fantastic. The whole location was very clean and the staff (Rosa) was very friendly and helpful. The location is also great - nice for walking around, visiting the Nationalpark Peneda-Geres and enjoying the nature (and of course the pool ;))
Everything was perfect, but it would be great if there was an eating table in the upper area near the Barbecue. And maybe a recommendation for a good wine / the opportunity to order bottled wine from your quinta. Thank you for the good time! We will definitely visit your place again!
From your arrival till your departure, you feel welcome and cherished.
The cuisine is devine, each menu item is a fine art of cuisine. Thank you to the chef!!!
The cocktail invented by the hotel barkeeper based on orange juice, Campari, honey, and more ingredients which are not to be mentioned , is unique and a must to be tasted.
The location allows to visit the natural park which is a 30 minutes drive.
The room was perfect, comfortable and very clean.
All the staff is so friendly and forthcoming, a real pleasure to be guest.
Very friendly and helpful staff, the hotel is exceptionally clean and the beds are so comfortable. We were a family of 4 and the rooms are well set up for accommodating young children. The rooms are cleaned daily and there is a lovely view and balcony to relax. The breakfast is a good choice and refreshed regularly through the morning sitting. We did the evening buffet one night and this was also nice and good value for money. The spa is a an added bonus with pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi!!
The cottage is really beautiful, set in a remote village in the middle of the Peneda-Geres park. It was a perfect location to carry out day hikes in the wonderful surrounding hills. Bernardino is a brilliant host and gave us excellent advice for our stay. The best part is the amazing natural pool under a waterfall by the property, a refreshing swim was the perfect way to finish the day after a long hike! I cannot recommend this place enough.
Wonderful accommodation! We felt at home all three days of our stay. Every detail is thought out with love: furniture, dishes, linen, towels are all clean, new and fresh. Many thanks to Nuno and his mom for the hospitality and warm welcome and advice about the national park. The hotel territory is love, the types of furniture by the pool are all at the highest level! We will definitely stay here again
Everything about this house was excellent. The location is near the Gerês National Park but also close to Arcos de Valdevez so you can make a quick getaway into the beautiful outdoors without being too far from civilization. The house is very cute, cozy and well equipped. The hosts also did everything to make us feel welcomed. Definitely recommended.
Solar do Requeijo is an extremely comfortable .
Very well located , close to the river and the centre of Arcos de Valdevez you can literally walk to the centre .
All staff are very friendly and helpful
Hugo at the reception was a pleasure to deal with.
A place to repeat.
Thanks again.
The staff goes the extra mile to make your stay very pleasant. The facilities are beautiful in a recovered old house by the riverside. Enjoy a drink overlooking the Vez river at sunset for a relaxing end of day. It is impossible to get enough of the best spot at Arcos de Valdevez.
Although, I have been at the hotel, I have never stayed in. I had some expectation in regards to the hotel which were met on this visit. Very nice sized and comfortable rooms at close distance from restaurants and the city centre. Good breakfast variety.
We fell in love with this hotel! The place is exceptionally beautiful. The little dinner in the restaurant was lovely. We had a rainy day and did not use the swimming pools, but we will definitely return. The place is stunning.
The location is very nice and close to the national park Peneda (by car). It has 2 locations close to each other and both have a pool for guests. Well equipped kitchen and a nice bathroom at the accommodation too.
The staff is 10! Especially sr EDI, at reception. He is a kind person who has given us all the information needed with kindness and courtesy.
The room is very comfortable and the hotel is beautiful
All the hotel experience was great: from professional staff, to cleaning standards, to confortable bed and calm and relax atmosphere. Breakfast was also great!
