We loved the hotel very clean bright room overlooking lots of trees.Gorgeous pool area.Staff very friendly and speak great English.Breakfast buffet really nice.Make sure you try the restaurant called patrimonriamona.Doesnt look appealing but the food is sensational and cheap and so are the beers in happy hour.Wouldnt rate any of the others.Only 300mtr walk to the beach under an under pass.Supermarket nearby.

The beach was great and there were plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. There is a bus from the beach area to the central square but then you have to walk a short way to the train station. Having a train from the beach to the train station would be excellent.

Beautiful place with beautiful people and wonderful nightlife and beaches all in all, just be weary of the local drug dealers on the main strip they are highly irritating and can be pushy if you don’t interact with them they leave you alone

As a golfer this is the perfect spot.
As a golfer this is the perfect spot. Many many quality options with 20-30 minutes. I still think it's the best location when traveling with a family. The beach is awesome and the food choices are excellent. Great access to sea tours and water taxi to Ferragudo from the marina. There's so much to do. I would recommend renting a car so you can visit numerous surrounding towns.

Great location of the resort.
Great location of the resort. Too far from the malls and other destinations that we would've want to visit. We ate at the the restaurant at the resort and also in town. Also the restaurants on the beach.

There are few places directly from the city center where you can find yourself so close to the incredible power of nature. The combination of a big city and beautiful natural beaches. Amazing, quiet town with lots of small beaches. One of the most beautiful beaches for me ever. Easily accessible by train, bus, car, taxi, Uber, or boat. About 2 hours from Faro airport. by car. There is everywhere to roam. If you see everything in the city, you don't have to run far to other big cities, but just move to the suburbs, in the east or west by the ocean. You will also be charmed and surprised by their natural scenery.
I traveld with two Friends and we searched for a cheap stay. The hotel is in front of the police station, thus it is really save there. It is 2 min away from the beach and a lot of restaurants are near by.
Pros:
-Small hotel, get to know everyone
-Really nice staff, they helped us with every problem and supported everything we wanted to to/change
-good Wifi
-we hat to cancel our stay earlier because of Corona and they gave us back all the money of the remaining days, really nice and kind
Space and comfort are perfect. There is no need for a car. it's easy to get Uber. Easy to travel around Algarve area. We even did a day trip by Coach from Portimao to Lisbon. Buy tickets in advance for a cheaper price.
We were able to pay as you go with food at the restaurant. Breakfast and evening meal was superb. Snacks in between. Travelled with my 21 and 17 year old daughters. The room is cleaned to a high standard every day, and toiletries are restocked when low. Second time visiting.
The location is great. Right by the beach and walking distance to various restaurants and bars. Shout-out to "Irelands eye". And 30 min walk to the old part of the city with its authentic businesses.
The front desk worker - young man - was very helpful.
Room is quite spacious.
Interior design of the room is great, very lovely.
View was very good (mine was with sea view) considering another hotel in front of it.
Everything worked.
I skipped breakfast, so I can't comment on it.
This accomodation was excellent for my needs. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly. Although I did not took breakfast they offer breakfast and there is a kitchen that can be used by the people who have a reservation. The location is excellent it's near the beach and city centre also 15 minute walk to the shuttle bus service to Motogp at Aurodromo Internaciol do Algarve. This must be one if the best price/quality value accomodation in Portimão.
They were a very kind and fluent English couple. I was very grateful for coming to pick me up while dragging my suitcase in hot weather to the dorm. Don't suffer like me, use Uber or a taxi from the beginning. And the location and cleanliness of the accommodation was really top notch. Spacious and comfortable, nice swimming pool, will definitely come back to Algarve. The best part was the time we spent on the sea view balcony. Highly recommended.
Simple hotel with everything one needs. Perfect for beach vacation. Good location in the more quiet part of the street. Some rooms have balcony with sea view. VERY friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast buffet style was good. We could easily extend our room one more night. Small parking right next to the hotel and plenty of parking within 5min walk in case the hotel parking is full. 2 min walk to best ice cream place in Algarve: Gelateria Sorbetto.
We chose the apartment as it was close to the Algarve Race track and it was perfect. The apartment was spacious with a balcony giving views of the track, Portimao & the ocean. The facilities were great as well as the mini market. The hotel staff were most helpful & organised with arranging transport of our motorcycle from the hotel to The Netherlands. Wonderful place to relax.
Location was only a 10 minute drive into Portimao. Buffet breakfast had a big selection to satisfy various tastes.
We walked the first day and played the front nine twice since it took almost 3 hours to play the front nine due to the foursome in front of us. The following 2 days we had a cart and played all 18. Back nine was hilly so I was happy that I didn’t walk.
Location was ideal to take day trips to other beaches in the Algarve region as the bus stop was only a 5 minute walk from the property. Inna is an incredible host! She gave me recommendations and always responded right away to any questions I had. I highly recommend this apartment!
Great price quality with an extremely friendly host. The location is quiet at night and close to the most important locations in portimao. Great wifi, free netflix for the kids and a small terrace to enjoy the beautifull weather from algarve.
The whole hotel area surprised us, very nice surroundings! Pool area, breakfast and over all service was great! A special mention for the nice young lady who welcomed us in, in the evening of 25th of July, Her service was exceptional!
This was the most comfortable room I stayed on this trip between 6 hotels in Portugal and Italy. The bed was huge which is rare in Europe. The view was perfect and the hotel food is great too. Staff are super friendly.
Located very close to the beach and main strip with restaurants and clubs, comfortable and luxurious room, kind staff and the best breakfasts I’ve ever had at a hotel!
Beautiful, very Morden and great location to the beach and lots of restaurants, If you looking to attend Afro-Nation Carnival in July this is the best hotel to stay
