Loving Strangers Hostel features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Madalena. The accommodation provides karaoke and a shared kitchen. The hostel is very spacious, clean and well equipped. I felt very comfortable the days I stayed there. The nice atmosphere makes it easy to get in touch with people. Stefan's and Pedro's attention was magnificent, very kind and helpful. Super clean and everything seems newly decorated, this place was decorated with great care. Lockers in the dorm room (bring a padlock or they offer to give you one), views of the mountain and a great kitchen, lounge and garden. Location was central and 2 mins to the port.

It is a very nice hostel, located in a beautiful and old convent. The breakfast is included, abundant and tasty! The staff is very helpful. Highly recommended!

Located in Lajes do Pico, Engenho Hostel features free WiFi. All units are equipped with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, fridge, a coffee machine, a shower, a hairdryer and a desk. Very nice location, one of the best in Pico, in my opinion. Restaurants, shops, supermarkets. Plenty of parking spaces and a nice view over the ocean :) The house is very clean and equipped with the basics one might need. The communication was very good, at all times there was a phone number available. And the bonus: books! Books everywhere!! Loved this place so much!

This Azorean guest house is a 15-minute walk from the sea and features comfortable accommodation overlooking Faial and the Pico Mountain, the highest point in Portugal. Nice, calme place, very strong breakfast!
