It felt like a real hostel. We were spending time together so had a chance to meet someone and plan activity. Burgers were yummy dont skip on those. Deffinitely will be back

Close to the center, but still quiet. Very comfortable and with nice design. The host was super friendly, he recommended us a very interesting trail run and a couple restaurants to eat. The shared kitchen has everything you need, clean. There is a place you can leave staff so others can pick it up and it won't be wasted. We loved that idea! Room was very comfortable and had enough space. You can also buy some local handmade products, we got a soap with a really beautiful orange scent 😍

29 Madeira Hostel set in the centre of Funchal, Madeira Island. The property offers budget accommodation in dormitories and private rooms. Very good conditions, the rooms are wonderful. The location of the hostel is very central. The people at the reception help you with tips about visiting the island. I will return with great pleasure to this location.

Steps away from restaurants and the market, as well as cable car. Clear check in instructions were given if arriving late. Had a kitchen, several bathrooms, seating area etc. bed room had lockers and locks provided. Wi-Fi worked well. The staff were friendly. The hostel itself seemed to be a historic building and had cool design.
