Beautifully decorated riad near Place Lladim. Very comfortable room with a private bathroom. The owner is very nice and helpful and takes very good care of his guests. We didn't want to get soaked looking for a restaurant, so we decided to try eating at the riad and he gladly said that he could arrange dinner for 180MAD. A bit expensive but totally worth it since the food was so good. We had soup with bread, followed by lamb and prunes tajine with 3 different vegetable garnishes and finished with tea and traditional Moroccan biscuits. We dined in a very beautiful and cozy living room. A typical Moroccan breakfast was included and was enough to keep us going until sunset (it was Ramadan). They have 2 very nice terraces that we unfortunately couldn't use because of the rainy weather. It must be very pleasant in the warmer months. I totally recommend it!

This was more beautiful than the pictures! Easy to find and easy to get to by taxi. I had a choice of rooms since it wasn't full and I had a hard time because they were all beautiful! Great A/C, super quiet, great breakfast.

The owner is very polite and his wife make a special breakfast included in the tax and if you want she could make also a traditional dinner. The house has and old style but is very clean and has an amazing terrace were we saw the sunrise and sunset. we had a real Moroccan experience there, we felt like part of their family ! The host is welcoming and attentive. The room and bathroom were generous in size and the wifi excellent. Traditional Moroccan breakfast was fine. Note that there is a large amount of restoration work going on in Meknes as at May 2023 so many of the sites are either closed or behind hoardings and not visible.

The lady and her daughter are very nice hosts, who showed us how to navigate to the maze of the Medina and how to easily find back to the riad. In the evening she prepared a delishes meal for us and gave us a deep insight in real Maroccan life and rituals. Thanks for that great experience. We abslolutly recommend this riad for your stay in Menkès. We hope, that we will have the possibility to come back.
