Lovely property, we travelled with my elderly father and he had the accessibility room and slept really well in the main building and had no complaints. The staff were excellent, room lovely and clean, breakfast was a full English and eggs Benedict, both cooked perfectly.

By Ullswater Lake, Patterdale Hotel offers home-cooked food, a garden terrace and lounges with fireplaces. Hotel Patterdale is between 2 scenic mountain ranges. it had everything we needed. rooms were comfortable and quite spacious. bar was great and entertainment good.

Barton Hall Country House offers accommodations in Pooley Bridge, 3.1 miles from Askham Hall and 19 miles from Derwentwater. Lovely accommodation and staff. Barton Hall has loads of character. Breakfast was excellent. Nice little discovery, will definitely be back!

Located within UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Lake District National Park, Waterfoot Park provides accommodations with complimentary WiFi is available in some properties. Great location for visiting the Lake District. It's in a quieter, less touristy part of the region, and yet it provides easy access to everything. The suite we stayed in was spacious and comfortable -- very nice!

Lowthwaite B&B enjoys a location in Watermillock, 8.2 miles from Askham Hall and 15 miles from Derwentwater. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Very friendly host. I stayed to participate at the Helvellyn triathlon, I could get an early breakfast with a delicious porage.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Crookabeck B&B provides accommodations with a terrace and free Wifi. Exceptional cosy B&B in a beautiful, quiet area of Patterdale. Lots of great walks nearby and the barn itself is on a beautiful piece of land with its own Wool shop, and sheep in the land. Thoroughly enjoyed the tasty breakfast, with such a great choice of fruits, yoghurts, full English, cereals etc. The beds are very comfortable, had the best nights sleep and the rooms are great size and done to a high quality standard. The owners are great, so friendly & welcoming & really go out of their way with small extra touches, like freshly baked cake on arrivals. Would 100% recommend buying their deli grazing boards, very delicious and great value for money!

Woodhouse Lodge offers accommodations in Pooley Bridge, 3.1 miles from Askham Hall and 18 miles from Derwentwater. The lodge was spotless and furnishings were so comfy. The owners have paid great attention to detail and their is everything you could possibly need. The views from the balcony is wonderful. Beautiful touches such as prosecco and fresh flowers on arrival. The hosts are on site due to being a working farm and they are so friendly nothing is to much for them. Only 10 mins walk into poorly bridge.
